I bought a lot of "genuine" items from FT, only one of them was actually genuine the rest were exact copies with fake stickers (the numbers weren't even for the type of item I had) sure I still buy from them but I no longer bother paying the extra markup they whack on the stuff labled "genuine /authentic", conversely I have bought a lot of stuff from GB and everything labled as "authentic" has checked ou, not all of its been any good but its all been genuine....
I wouldn't personally buy something listed as authentic or genuine from FT if it didn't require bitcoin (store credit) to purchase it any more, the rest tends to be extreamly high quality copies but not up to the job, although the colour range is much braoder than from other vendors and the prices are close if not better they invariably use cheaper bits on the inside and theose sub standard parts break faster than they should ....

My take on Chinese fakes goes along the lines of it`s made in China at the same factories, the day shift make the "real" Eleaf, Kanger, joyetech etc etc products and then the night shift clock on and make the same but "fake" which is still churning out profits all be it at a lesser mark up than than the "real" deal, but because they can still make a profit from both, well that`s just the way they roll out their, those greedy buggers don`t care much for or stick to counterfit goods laws like we do over here, it`s all about the profit. Or The dayshift make the "real" deal and then the factory boss gets all his mates and their mates on the nightshift to produce the same but "fake" product which he sells on to some unscrupolous looking dodgey type geezer for a small profit which he splits with the nightshift taking the lions share. Whilst in the mean time the dodgey geezer has set up a website and offshore business so he doesn`t pay too much tax and sells the "fakes" on at a tidy tax free profit, again as the "real" deal or "fake" because he`s making profit on both as well. Basically it`s all about the profit again and f__k everyone .

I dont mind buying fake/clone items knowing they are fake and the price reflects that its not the genuine article, but to sell something thats supposed to be authentic at higher prices than the clone/fakes is a bit naughty. Even with the 20% discount the RX200 is expensive for a fake/clone.

Can I just add to this, I'm regular customer of FT, last year bought an Istick 20 when all the hoo ha of trying to get them was going on, never checked it just charged and used, it lasted 9 months heavy everyday use, the only reason it failed was because some idiot cross threaded it (me), if it was fake or not I do not care it's best little mod I have ever owned. And i've had two recent problems with FT products, an Istick 40 would not hold charge, they asked for a video, come on how do you do that, and a cheap and cheerfull carto tank that broke before I could try it. I complained, the Istick was returned and on day I posted it got postage credit, the tank I said did not care and put it down to experiance, got immediate credit. A lot of companies over here could learn from that type of service, ok you have delay in coms but thats to be expected. I'm a fan of FT.

I bought a RX200 from FT, it certainly is not a clone. as said before where they say Authentic, the item is authentic and the only reason the scratch card etc are removed is because they are sourcing the stuff cheaper for our benefit (and their's) otherwise the likes of Totally Wicked would be getting away with their extortionate pricing as they have tied up the UK market with a cosy deal.

with regards to the rolo (rx200) I've got 2 of them both form GB and they both check out as genuine articles, they also seem to be operating in the manner described by others on various review sites so getting them for less than £30 seems like a huge bargain compared to the uk retail prices of at least £60
