I use stealth vapes ss 316L The advantages are juice seems to taste better and I can use it in tc mode. Plus I can gently glow it to dry burn. The stealth vapes works brilliantly at 540f on dual coils in my griffins. Nife30 and ni200 I don't like as you can't dry burn it well and it leaches black crap. Ive been on a long road vaping in tc mode but I'm at a very happy sweet spot right now Obviously people have different preferences but that's what I like

I am so used to Ni200 I don't like using Kanthal any more and find it harder to work with than Ni200. Lots of people prefer Kanthal because you can be really rough with it, touch it, make it glow and it keeps it shape well once you have put a heat cycle or two through it. For temp sensing I prefer (in order) Ni200, NiFe30 & Ti, not a fan of ss NiFe30 is similar to work with and a much better performer IMO, you need a really good mod to do Ni200 dual coils or even big single coils. I don't get the black crap jtc does, but I change wicks and clean ever 8 ml or so, I can clean all those wires dry burning with temp limiting using a higher TCR to keep them well in the safe zone.

Yeah I find it strange how I get the black sludge from nickel. I really don't know but anyway the main thing is we are happy with our vape I reckon. I'm going to try stealthvape p11 wire when it's released

It could be liquid related jtc, also as I only use 100% PG liquids I can vape at considerable lower temps.

The thing I find intriguing is people think it's perfectly safe glowing kanthal like a light bulb. Yes it can take high temp but I still wouldn't go mad with it. I now slightly glow my ss to be on the safe side

Don't think iv ever tried ss tbh. Get some 24 gauge 316L from stealth mate. You can use it in normal power mode as well and you might find you like it. I think ss is a more natural taste as we always eat with ss cutlery so the palette seems to accept it nicely imo

IMO the best use of ss is to use temp limited preheat to get it up to temp quickly than have the wattage at a level to maintain temp just below the temp limit, you get smoother vape than running a the temp limit.

Hi What are the advantages of other wires against Kanthal? I assume you are asking in regards to power/wattage use, the advantages against Kanthal can be lower resistance enabling either/or thicker wires, faster ramp up, lower power use better perception of flavour some are softer and easier to use
