I have put the GT on the naughty step till it behaves Ha ha, that's what I kept doing but I finally gave in. Not much usually gets the better of me. Hope he is not there long.

It just keeps on saying low resistance must be something wrong with the posts I think, I will figure it out, its staying on the step for the time being.

I noticed in your earlier post tsoko, when you removed the pos. pin there was a spring. On mine IIRC, there's a small rubber o ring on the centre pin.

Id try it on a mod with out a coil in, if the posts are dodgy it should still pick up as a short.

I had a similar problem with one of mine. It was corrected by removing the deck, 510 screw, insulator, etc, cleaning it, and re-aligning it all so that there are no touching metal bits between the positive part of the deck and the other post. My insulator wasn't worn (which I suspected), so I just rebuilt it. I t works fine, (although, I haven't used it for ages now).

Mine where both a press fit. I had to knock them out from the 510.

You have to remove the centre pin. Most clones are push-fit, like mine, but an original may have an adjustable screw 510, which should just unscrew all the way out allowing you to remove the deck. Either way, take out the centre pin from the 510 connector.
