You would really need a atty that you can attach a couple of wires to the coil connections like a dual coil dripper or make an adaptor to test with a multi metre. I used one of these 510 metres and could see the voltage starts at 9 V then drops to 4.32 V. The coils was registering as 1.19 ohm so doing the maths P = V 2/R that was 68.64 W & 15.8 W and the mod was set to 13 W. You can calculate what the voltage should be by V = sqrt(P*R), in my case it would have been 3.9 V.

it's not by much but enough to cause extremes with the KFL+ v2 and driving me nuts and just now out and about I managed to set it to TC and then had to go on page 3 of here to find out how to fix that!!! (thanks Grandad)

Not specifically other than poor design, the board looks OK. It can be the design is not tolerant of components are too far out of range and they are cooking capacitors soldering the leads on, but there are only a couple near leads so I don't think they even have that excuse. There are a pair of small SMT pads that could be a missing component (half way between the screen ZIF socket and to mounting hole on the screen side), it is in a place where it wouldn't have got knocked off on it's own, but there may have never been a component there anyway. Who knows, I'm sticking to poor design.

Cheers Would there be enough room to fit a dna40 or dna75 in the carcass as it is a nice mod With a 75 the USB cut out is too high up so the bottom buttons don't line up and the 510 is in the way of the board. For a DNA 40 large screen you would have to change the buttons or make a board to hold switches in place and the Evolv charge board is blocked by a metal mounting turret so probably possible without USB charging, but not sure it is worth the effort. BTW the screen is compatible with a DNA75 so worth saving.

So I check the resistance on the screen as well as the output on the screen and the resistance is not static even though it's a day old coil (but remember I vape about 30ml a day!!!) and coils tend to last me a few weeks on average. This might be able to be fixed with a few clean outs with IPA and a cotton bud in the connector. had this issue far worse with the provari and VTR and cleaning out the connector made a huge difference. Only done a mini clean so far and has helped PS. Tried this clean out connector when resistances fling all sabbath pm. Fixed!!! and I was chain vaping like a trouper!!! (30ml in 8 hours - single coil - nuff said ) In a word - my SMY 75 mini issues are fixed

I did finally get a credit, although it took 4 days from opening the ticket. Not happy as I had to either take a loss with currency exchange or buy stuff I don't want. I got 5 30Q batteries in the end, but even then they charged $1.99 shipping on a $24 order with only items listed "free shipping" to the UK. The only positive is that I didn't have to get into PMs here with their reps to get the refund.
