I think thats the whole point in a nutshell though Russell.
Its not rubbish exactly. It just sits on the shelves longer than when it was the "new thing"
I cant see any vendor simply donating merchandise to unknown people.
They have as much right to squeeze whatever they can from stock, after all, they are the ones who invested their own money, took customs hits, increased postal rates, council rates, rents.
I know of many vendors who have donated a lot of raffle prizes to 2 vapefest meets in a 3 month period.
They`ll not see that money again.
Besides, nobody gave me anything for nothing when i decided to try vaping. Excepting some generous souls in here who gave me some juices to try.

I know what you are saying Brian BUT with the donations goes free publicity to the vendor. The new vaper who now is using the freebie, knows where it comes from and knows where to get their stuff from in the future. I'm sure it is another NO LOSE situation ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/smiley.png)

Massive apology, today has been a bloody long one, you would not believe how complicated integrating a Sage accounts system with a CRM could be, but it's now (finally) done. I have sOme space tomorrow to respond to this thread in full ![;)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/wink.png)

That's the good thing about a shop...there's no such thing as old stock, because what the forum guys are buying now will be a revelation to the public in around 6 months time ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/smiley.png)

First off I have to say thank you to all who have commented on this thread, and Brian, there have been no ramblings, just good honest feedback which I really appreciate ![;)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/wink.png) Jason - the information you have passed my way has been brilliant, it isn't often that another business offers the advice that you have and have been as open and honest either. I thank you from the bottom of my heart for trying to start this in the correct manner instead of me going out and buying completely the wrong stock and wondering why it isn't selling. So, I am currently putting a business plan together, for the moment I am trying to source some ciggalikes and other slightly more advanced products (but nothing like Provari), I located a Chinese company called Sinca to start the ball rolling, they seem to provide everything I need at this time to get the actual equipment onboard. I will be ordering one of everything they do to trial it out and decide what is best for the shop. I have seen some premises and will be talking to landlords in the coming weeks, Winchester seems a better idea than Southampton at the moment, if this works then I will progress to Southampton and beyond. Sorry this isn't a more detailed response, because I am wrapping up two businesses I am flat out doing that and making sure the paperwork is sorted, if anyone is interested I own the following: www.key-sys.co.ukwww.key-voip.co.ukwww.cloudnumbers.co.ukwww.key-mobiles.co.ukI am only retaining www.key-sys.co.uk and www.cloudnumbers.co.uk for the time being, the rest are being sold on. I do ecommerce big time but want to try the shop aspect first, get it right and I could see me rolling out as many shops as I can afford to do so ![:D](//storage.proboards.com/2973975/images/30yfTjP3QPippj7hX3wK.gif)

If you had had Joe Bloggs in to do the job, you would see plastic trunking here and here, with me you see nothing, but what's that you say? He's £10 per socket cheaper ![::)](//storage.proboards.com/2973975/images/N0IhREh7uFcTjsME5Y1s.gif) Bargain. ![;D](//storage.proboards.com/2973975/images/uKg77DgrQpkBFJJN7U0P.gif)
