If you're concerned about the possibilty of loose fibres, then boil your wick first Boo, then let it dry out fully before you use it. So boiling it removes the particles? Has there been conclusive tests on this?

So, fibre glass wicks...how safe are they? Anyone know?
Sorry if this has been asked before.
I saw this on youtube:
Whatcha all fink?
I'm wanting to buy some wick for a new rebuildable attie I'm about to buy.
Cheers.

I am also compiling a little shopping list. Getting an extra twist and a rebuildable dripper from VH (or maybe 2)...was considering an RDA - what's the waiting list like?
Also some more attie heads for the vivi - finally gave up the ghost and stopped trying to vape vermillion rivers juices in it - chucked some grizwalds strawberry ice cream and it's vaping, flavourwise, like a f*****g dream.
Have you considered the vapourhut rebuildable at any point, kuro?

I love strawberry milkshake and raspberry truffle so far. Black cat IS nice and smooth and subtle, but perhaps a bit too subtle for me. Everyone raves about cocomel, but it didnt' do much for me - could barely taste the caramel. Manilly Vanilla I found quite nice.
My Dad, who is a non-vaper and ex-smoker, has been having cheeky puffs on my Riva, and his faves so far are the strwaberry ice cream, raspberry truffle, mailly vanilla, and raspberry dodge from Pixie Juice (another supplier worth trying). He likes these so much, that when we go on holiday in Sept, he's going to buy some in zero nicotine and borrow one of my Riva batteries.

That's OK, Paul. Just let me know if you fancy them. They're just knocking around in my drawer at the moment. Every time I look at them I give them a dirty look...and then promptly scoop up my egos and twist and cuddle and coo over them like kittens.
Riva has done me proud so far. Twist is also great. I mused over buying a kgo at the start too - I think they're quite similar to the egos...some say better....but I think more expensive.

Hi Paul. I started out on a V2 kit.....my thoughts........OK as an initial starter-upper. But if you're a heavy vaper, they are really not worth your while.
You might think NOW that you won't be a heavy vaper, as you were only on 10 rollies a day, but that may change once you try an awesome flavour, and also once you realise that vaping is a different beast to smoking.
I lasted two weeks on the V2, and then I got fed up of having to charge them up every hour or two, and I ordered a riva 1100 kit, which I'm much more satisfied with.
Tell you what. Before you splash out on the overly-priced V2 kit, why don't you try them first? I have two automatic batteries and one manual, and a usb charger. Want me to send them out to you? All you'd have to buy is some V2 pre-filled carties (or other brands, if they're compatible) or some V2 empty cartridges and some juice......if you don't like it, send them back, if you do like it, send me £15 or something and keep the bloody thing.

So out of all the cheapy rebuildables that have been linked in various threads recently, which would you recommend? The ego customizer, the apollo Mk, or the dripping rebuildable from vapour hut?
I like the look of the apollo myself...

dagnabit! I was after one or two of these. I hope every vape tastes like crab juice, lunardog! Only joking. I'm gonna get me some cheapy rebuildables from vapour hut. Happy vaping, lunar.

I like some tobacco flaves, but they must have a creamy sweetness to them, like the vermillion rivers range. Mostly I like things which are chocolately and caramelly. I've only tried some pixie juice so far, and though I wasn't as impressed with mint choc chip or ginger biccies as everyone else (they rave about them), I found raspberry dodge direct dripped into an attie to be the most authentic and sophisticated flav I've tried so far....you get all the layers, one minute you're getting the biscuity-ness, then the raspberry-ness, then the creaminess....i recommend it.
Damn, I've missed the 11:00 deadline for the 25% discount on the healthvapes stuff. Oh well. I think I'll stick to Griz and Pixie at the mo, just keep trying their flavours.

Were you not impressed with the flavours? Whats teh caramel marshmallow like btw? Was gonna order some juices from healthvapes tonight - they do nice flavours? On par with pixie and grizwalds or no?
I've just gone through my bottles and picked out the ones I don't like, or at least, can't be arsed vaping.
dekang RY4 18mg roughly 27mls left vermillion rivers kentucky amaretto blend 10mg something like 25mls left V2 platinum juice peppermint (PG) 12mg - 9mls left pinkspot bubblegum 12mg - 4 mls decadent vapors Turkish (PG) 11mg - 3.5 mls pinkspot big red 12mg - 3.5 mls liberty flights rose (VG) johnsons creek VG 18 mg in: wisconsin frost, domestic, valencia, island - all 3mls
Any of these tickle your taste buds, squire?
I actually already have some of the flavours that you have, but wouldn't hurt to have more.
If you're not interested in any I might start a whole separate thread for classifieds.

OK. This is all useful, thanks. I'm thinking of getting an RDA.....apparently some sort of mesh something or other can be added so that the atty can take 20 drops of ejuice? Anyone have any information on this? Also, I've been directed to this: www.health-e-vape.co.uk/ego-customizer--atomizer-fully-rebuildablepre-order-promo-sale--2750-p.aspWould this work in the same way as a RDA? Could get three for the price of one RDA, see. I'm gonna try a different juice in my vivi....heard too much good stuff about these things to give up so soon.

Hmmm. I shall look into this. After checking the old bank balance I realise that I have more money than I thought and am therefore free to spaff away a good chunk on all things e-cig.
Whatabout those provaris with a rebuildable atty (obvs not penelope - I'm not that loaded)?
Also. Was it you I was chatting to about vivis..and you said pixie juice raspberry dodge was crap in a vivi because of the delicate flavour balance? I think it was you. So. Is that particular flavour OK in a carto? Cus I've been direct dripping that stuff and it's blowing my socks off..wonder if it's as good in other delivery systems..
And yes, that dual coil carto IS good. Grizwalds Strawberry ice cream in it is wonderful....
I'm really not sure what route to take, you know.....I'm thinking either stock up on regular 510 atties and direct drip some special gourmet flavours, or get a rebuildable attie, and use decent cartos for other flavours, or try clearos again, or try cartos with a good tank....
Thing is, with the rebuildable attie, does that mean I'm restricted to just one flavour....that I'd have to clean and dry burn before trying another? I'd like a few atties for certain flavours (Obvz I'm thinking Grizwalds and Pixie Juice)...
?
By the way, you've always been very helpful, Ellen (as well as a couple others on here), and I appreciate that.

I have done exactly the same thing. VR cherrywood all over my crotch, through my pants. Sticky pubes. Too Much Information Baby. You think that's too much information? That aint nothin'. I could have you all vomitting/jizzing into your cartos with the kind of information I got *snaps fingers in jerry springer stylee* uh huh
