It says that most flavourings are PG based. I've already checked perfumers apprentice and capella and CCW, and they're all PG. I imagine totally wicked use PG flavourings, but best check by emailing them.

I've also ordered a bunch of flavours and nic juice etc, and am going through the learning process at the same time as you, Sue. I just came across this: breaktru.com/smf/index.php/topic,205.0.html

Ooh lala, I didn't even think about the flavours themselves being PG or VG.

Goody gum drops. Can't be dealing with nasty PG, yuck. Thanks for getting back.

Your kit does look aces, Mr Postmodern, but you don't do a VG nicotine base. Or do you have some stashed away?

Cheers, Ellen! That's really generous of you. So have you delved into the world of mixing then? Any success? Managed to replicate the dodge yet?

And also, I notice that in some recipes, Asda rum was used. This work OK? Cuz I have some lovely spiced rum in the house...

I've had a gander at the recipes page and some of them look bloody lovely. And I am inspired. One thing's for sure - my credit card is gonna get brutalised tomorrow.
Quick question - what, prey, is dulce de leche? A specific flavour or a special wizardy mix thing?

Cheers, Perps. I think I'll do a little mix n matching, and probs best get some of that wizard stuff and dulce leche (sic?) everyone recommends. Dead exciting. And what with being pregnant, I can mix really low nicotine but maybe play around with it so as to still get a throat hit of some sort.
What are your favourite caramel and chocolate flavours? I'd ideally like to nail a chocolate juice, since there aren't many good ones. And as for caramel, the only juice I've tasted which has a gorgeous caramel is some of Froggy's juices. I wonder which he uses.
You know those chocolate digestives with caramel inside? One day I'd like to achieve that.

Hi everyone. I'm thinking of mixing my own juices. Plan to buy some stuff tomorrow (payday). I know I need to get hold of some nic base, which I hear I can get from a few places, such as Nicvape or postmodern smoking. But what's the best flavourings to get? I've heard flavourart is good, and capella and cupcake world.
Can anyone point me in the right direction? I'm sure it's all down to personal taste, but which specific flavours and vendors do you like? Which are considered gourmet?
I'll be aiming to make non-tobacco juices. Primarily chocolatey, caramelly juices, some fruity ones.
I hope you can help. Cheers.

Make your own MP It's really not that tricky once you get the hang of it Just a phone app/pc app PG VG Nic base (50 someit....) flavour Gloves Apron Syringes (for measuring) Measuring cup (For pouring out pre mixing) Medicine bottles or wee plastic bottles (for ya juice when made up) Another syringe perhaps (For filling your cartomiser/tank) Dah dah Home brew So that easy? What are the best flavourings to get? I've heard capella and cupcake world are the best, but don't know much about it. Would be cool to start looking into this DIY stuff. Do you find you can make juices which are as good as some of the best gourmet vendors?

I don't think you're going to find anything as amazingly written as Blood Meridian. But for good serious fantasy, I suggest Phillip Pullman, the His Dark Materials trilogy, maybe some Ursula Le Guin (she's done some very good stuff and some pants stuff). Reckon you could stomach any magical realism? That's basically fantasy for people who think they're too clever for normal fantasy. If so, try 100 Years of Solitude by Gabriel Garcia Marquez. I would put that next to Blood Meridian in terms of amazing style. And if you like that kind of thing (dark, weird writing) I'd also suggest the Wind Up Bird Chronicle, and Kafka on the Shore by Murakami, and anything by Angela carter.
And yes, Stephen King has written some fab epic fantasy, but not recently.
It's a shame Game of Thrones is meant to be badly written - I've been looking forward to reading it.
