Last post before I will be stocking concentrate DIY flavourings over the coming months and would appreciate any feedback on what your favorite are, I make my own tobacco flavours and that is were my expertise comes in as i have been researching and developing the taste and aroma of that just opened pouch of tobacco and pack of fresh ciggis, without the nasty burnt crap. my personal opinion is that when you get a L&B or a GV, etc tobacco juice they are nothing like the aroma of the real thing, I hate the taste and smell of burning tobacco now, but i love the aroma of fresh tobacco if that makes any sense ???. enough of my waffling its time for bed got lots of to do tomorrow. when my nic base goes it will be the end of the month when i get new stock Hi I have just opened my account with you and bought two bottles of the VG nic base and a bottle each of VG and pg. Sadly, I couldn't find anywhere to add a voucher code for free postage so was forced to go ahead and pay it. A suggestion for you when you start selling concentrates. Don't just stick to 10ml bottle sizes. I am having to make up recipes for my daughter and her friends and having to restock over and over again with small bottles is annoying and more expensive than it should be. It would be good if at least one supplier gave us the option of bulk buying at a discounted rate. +1 for bigger bottles of flavours, 100ml ones would be good, there is a market gap which no one seems to want to fill...

Of course everyone on here all know from first hand experience they are are effective if not better than conventional NRT but unfortunately this article may lead people to believe E cigs pose no risk to health, as it says in the article - " However, he did call for longer-term studies into the consequences of using the devices." so the report doesn't tell us anything we don't already know really. I'm not sure whats positive about this. If the study concluded that e-cigs have absolutely Zero health risks then i would be shouting "Yipee" etc etc. The reason i might sound so negative about this is im not one of those standard thread replies you see all over the net "i smoked 30 a day for 30 years untill...." Infact i only smoked for 2 months after a 10 year quit and now i'm having issues getting off the e-cig and i worry stupid about putting this in my lungs. Thanks. Sorry mate, but frankly you have no idea what you are talking about! I suggest you to try the patches...

...or the health officials are just right in protecting public against the epidemic of sexually transmitted diseases. According to study in China Science Daily ( clicky) - the more e-cigarettes vapers vape, the more they want to have sex. ''Dr Wel Hung warned against using nicotine, which he describe as Satan’s drug, for sex purposes. However, under intense scrutiny from journalists 67 year old non-smoker Dr Hung admitted he had taken up vaping since leaving his wife and marrying a 17 year old Thai fashion actress, although he refused to comment on the reason.''

It does but it's Big Pharma that funds most research in health. Why would they want to fund conclusive studies into a competing product that might show it in a favourable light? I know that's the core problem. It's a political problem really...How to eradicate hypocrisy?

I'm well aware of that. But in the light of anti vaping campaign in mainstream media and of many gov/health officials, every write up like this article feels like enlightenment. Lets hope they finally do a study on proper/advanced devices. I doubt Big Pharma would fund that The main problem is there are so many variables with vaping, proper scientific study is nigh on impossible so all the evidence is anecdotal using the full range of devices, juices and user settings. No scientist/ researcher/ doctor can publish anecdotal evidence unless they want to be a laughing stock with their peers.
So we are stuck with diluted and watered down studies that cripple the main advantage of E-cigs, the fact that vaping can be all things to all people. Well that's the way the modern science works. You want to find solution to a problem, you have to make thousands of experiments with as many variables as possible. Large Hadron Collider cost so far £2.6 billion, and the measurements will continue for quite some time. If smoking costs NHS billions of £'s(can't recall the exact figure), why not to throw 100mil on electronic cigarettes research... As Prof.Hajek says in the article: ''The key message is that in the context of minimum support, e-cigarettes are at least as effective as nicotine patches.E-cigarettes are also more attractive than patches to many smokers, and can be accessed in most countries without the restrictions around medicines that apply to nicotine replacement therapy or the costly involvement of health professionals. These advantages suggest that e-cigarettes have the potential to increase rates of smoking cessation and reduce costs to quitters and to health services.'' It surely makes sense economically as well as politically...

The study was crippled.1 carto a day on a cigalike was all they were allowed and the study has been done over two years I believe so E-cigs were nothing like as good as they are now. I'm well aware of that. But in the light of anti vaping campaign in mainstream media and of many gov/health officials, every write up like this article feels like enlightenment. Lets hope they finally do a study on proper/advanced devices.

I can't believe it... One year today... Well chuffed... After 26 years of 20-30 cigarettes a day habit, this is the longest period of my adult life I've ever managed without smoking. Thank you Scott ( igetcha) for making excellent reviews of vaping gear and helping me to quit tobacco cigarettes! Thank you all AAEC members and moderators for such a friendly forum! Cheers everyone!

I'd try emailing Abe at Liberty Flights or any of the UK Capella VC Dan . . . Terry at Leisure Liquids also stocks it, but he's just gone on holiday so won't be about to answer. If you fill your cart on Capella's website, you can get a shipping quote, but one thing to remember is that you'll almost certainly be hit for Customs on a purchase from Capella. I certainly have been and a group buy we did on the forum also attracted charges. That added another £18 to my small personal order and £75(ish) on the GB one. There's very little difference between Capella's and TPA's VC in all honesty . . . if anything I think TPA's is maybe a teeny bit nicer. Hi Mandy I've had an answer back from Alchemists and they have said that they wouldn't be able to supply at anymore discount due to shipping, duty, bottling, etc. I'm just waiting to hear back from Carrie at the moment.. She's done good by me so far and so I would prefer to order from her if she's able to do anything...I already have a fairly substantial order to place with her anyway so would save on postage if nothing else! I don't think Abe stocks the VC concentrates.. I've looked several times but can't find them on his site for the life of me! I have found this though, which works out at around £17 + postage for 100mls if that's of any interest to any Capella users? Regarding TPA vs Capella.. After spending the evening researching, I'm going for the TPA.. Not only are you not the first to say that the TPA has a slight edge but I also don't like Capella's dishonesty about this whole diacetyl thing... They say that their VC contains none whatsoever, yet I've read of at least two independent tests that say different... Even if it is only minute!! That toscanamall.com is rather dear Dan. The price of 19.80 euros is for 50ml only! You can get 60ml for £17.18 from frogster. Only Liberty Flights do 100ml bottles of TPA flavourings, unfortunately no custard one.
