Not to make you paranoid, but someone asked me if I was smoking weed. Clearomizers do look kinda suspicious I guess.

I think I found a short term fix! Chain vaping. Swedish Fish sounds amazing. I've been watching E-Liquid reviews on youtube all day. Cheers, andym.

if you're trying for a kid tho, mummy should consider quitting all nicotine for pregnancy. Very valid point but isn't nicotine not more harmful than caffeine? ??? To be honest I'd much rather we both do some vaping than smoking horrible ciggies. It is if you're drinking that nicotine. It's poison afterall.

Well, i was a 50 a day man prior to 7 weeks ago when i had a rather large asthma attack and wound up in hospital for a 3 day stay, that was my wake up call to quit the smokes and ultimately led me to this site. Since then i have fell off the wagon a couple of times (alcohol involved), i even bought a 10 pack last saturday when away playing County Darts for the day.......... but the good thing is, when i woke up the next day i was straight back to vaping with no desire to have a real cig! Mate this is the exact same for me. The next day I have no desire for the 'morning' cig. Alcohol is a bloody nuisance sometimes, but we can't stay cooped up in the house all week. I would go crazy.

I know exactly where your coming from mate (see my recent post on starting smoking again). It can be tough and the worst thing for me is the guilt of having a smoke when I've said to myself and other people that I've stopped smoking BUT having said that and listening to the good folk on this forum then having the occasional one or two is far better than the 20 odd you were smoking. As long as it doesn't get out of control then as far as I'm concerned then there's no harm in these early days in having a couple now and again. As been said before smoking is not just addictive for the nicotine, it's also very habitual, my wife for instance always goes outside for her last vape in the evening as that was what she would do when she smoked so perhaps when you go for a drink with your mates then maybe just change the routine slightly by only taking say 2 cigarettes with you and pace yourself through the evening. Allowing yourself to have a cigarette may just take the pressure off to actually have one. Since owning up to smoking again this morning, I don't (or can't be bothered) to go out to the car and have a cigarette - it's weird. Graham I feel extremely guilty too, I've been hiding it from my uhm.. let's say room mate. She's very anti-smoking to begin with so if she found out I was having the odd cheeky one she'd hit the roof. Telling her really isn't an option I think. She's scary, believe me. Actually mate, I don't think that's the problem. I have no real attachment to the traditional cigarette. It's more the feeling I get after a real one, not even the taste. (which I'm finding weirdly disgusting lately) It's almost like afterwards I'm filled with a short-term confidence. I'm hoping it's just getting bored of the juice I have. I haven't tried many so I don't know if RY4 is considered 'sweet' or not, but it sure seems it when you're having a black coffee or a pint of bitter. Been interested in that HS Delight for a while now, but I'm also craving something fruity at times too.

Thanks for the replies guys, sorry I don't have time to write a proper reply I'm on my toes at the moment. Ewol, do you have any shops close that you could go test some juices before you buy? Yeah, got one pretty close (vapeescape). I don't have one of those atomizer things to test the different juices though. Might be able to figure something out though.

Any in particular you recommend? Can't really afford to try that many and not like em.

It feels 'wrong' somehow giles, can't explain it.
The batteries are decent enough, if anything the throat hit has been a little too much for me. Riva ones from vapeescape.

I've suffered with anxiety for over 8 years. It's one of the reasons I smoked. Whenever I was out the house, walking to the corner shop, having a drink with friends or just feeling a bit fed up, I would light up. It made me feel better. I'm not getting the same relief when vaping unfortunately.
EDIT: I really do want to stop though. I'm fine for the most part when I'm alone in the house, I can vape away without too much discomfort. It's more the social side of things that I'm struggling with. Like when I used to walk to the shop I would light up a cig so I wasn't walking to the shop doing nothing, if I never I would feel very self conscious if that makes sense.

I never liked Menthol cigs so hesitant to try a Menthol E-Liquid. I really don't think the nicotine level is too low because I've been dizzy sometimes from vaping.

I wonder if you need to up the nicotine strength of you juice? Maybe or maybe it's too high. I'm not sure. I was averaging 15-20 cigs a day (more if drinking) I think I need to order more juice. Different flavours. I think I'm getting a bit sick of RY4.

I went to the pub on Thursday night and ordered a pint of bitter. I started feeling VERY anxious (butterflies in my stomach) and I was shaking. I followed my friend outside and asked him for a smoke, almost instantly my anxiety disappeared after that cig. I had 2 more that night and afterwards just vaped. The next day I vaped all day until a friend came over and we had a beer, again I felt anxious and ended up smoking 5 last night. This morning after breakfast I made some coffee and ended up having a cig with it. I have no cigs left now, but I can't get rid of this urge to smoke.
I also feel like I can't vape for long as it's making me feel a bit nauseous.
Is this a little slip or will I have to deal with these urges every day?

clutter, i am glad you explained the the local wasn't for the pain, I was wondering whether no anesthetic would be better...........I hate the injection.........that's the worst bit for me, and I get an involuntary head wiggle or lip tremble because I am so scared, which is really embarrassing lmao and I have no control over it!!! I disagree with clutter to be honest. Even if it's to prevent bleeding it's also for pain aswell. If you went with no anesthetic you would be screaming. I'll never forget when I got my a filling without it. I still have nightmares.

Vapeescape is great, but unless I'm mistaken they don't stock the ones Storm recommended.
