Good old Lobby or cornbeef hash as a lot of people know it So that's what lobby is! I'm a foreigner in these parts and wondered what it was - another of my favourites it turns out

Glad you're enjoying your riva and clearos - makes such a difference doesn't it Its appearance fascinated my 5 year old grandson when I did the pressing the button 3 times thing to switch it off - "Grandma, your sonic screwdriver is much cooler than mine" Needless to say it's going to be kept well out of his reach, along with all the other bits n' bobs I seem to be collecting!

Shame Can't think what else you could try really - if it won't disperse in 70% PG then I think you might be stuck. The thing is, PG (and VG) is used in the food industry because so many flavourings are "oily" (especially citrus types) and it's a safe way of getting them soluble. I guess if what you've got is still separating then it's just not going to mix. Do you know of any e-liquid vendors who sell any kind of tutti-frutti juice. Maybe they'd be willing to let you know what they use (and how they use it)?

What percentage of your mix is PG? If it's 50% or less, try increasing it and see if that helps. I'd have to look it up, but I'm not sure if VG is as effective as PG when it comes to getting oily flavourings to mix

Sorry, but somehow missed this thread before. The weight/ml and refractive index both indicate that what you have is oil rather than water based. Aqueous solutions typically have a weight/ml near to or >1g and a refractive index of 1.3 - 1.4. Oils tend to be lighter/ml but have a higher refractive index. There are of course exceptions, but it definitely looks like you have an oil based liquid rather than aqueous, hence the separation. btw I'm no expert in food additives etc, just a simple chemist
