Happy birthday to those who really do have a birthday today ![birthday-smilie](//storage.proboards.com/2973975/images/Hm0S0rmI8OTF9imMugBW.gif) I should imagine most in the list don;t & have just put 1st Jan as they didn't want to divulge any personal info when they joined the forum ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/smiley.png) As penance for lying about my birth date whilst signing up, my birthday this year is cancelled. ![(rofl)](//storage.proboards.com/2973975/images/rd3a3XzcKcp6Cp8mA_6q.gif)

Looks like this is a clone. Doubt if it'll have a yihi chip in.

Got you. Makes sense that. So if the charging circuitry in the istick fails and too much current gets pulled, Houston we have a problem! Thanks robby ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/smiley.png)

I use This. for all my charging. Really solid piece of kit. It looks like a Nice bit of kit, but I think too powerful for the Istick. You think? I have one of those. Delivers 5v per port (usb standard) but the istick should only pull the amps needed. I was under the impression that plugging a device into a charger that can't deliver enough current is the worst thing to do rather than the other way round. Correct me if i'm wrong!

Looks good for the price. Shame they didn't stick a nice spring loaded 510 connector on it. I'd also like to know what chip they've put in it. Guessing it's some generic CHNA type. Something with a nice yihi would cost a fair bit more i would have thought. Still tempts ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/smiley.png)

Got you, though i've ordered stuff from Amazon's US site before and you can pre-pay 'import fees' there so I was assuming any retailer could do the same if they did the sums and filled out a declaration. I think my first comment might be a load of cobblers and you could be right about prepayment of import fees. ![*sorry*](//storage.proboards.com/2973975/images/dcKbnGFIDybwxm8PiA6_.gif) I'm not really sure how it all works to be honest. I'll try and find out ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/smiley.png)

Just wondering how much of a toil it'd be for Rich from nicvape to complete the customs forms and add the duty/vat onto the price. I'm assuming this would relieve us of RM's fee. 'fraid not.
Rich is a US based seller and therefore is not obliged to collect UK VAT.
Plus this from the RM website "If you're sending or receiving goods by post for your personal use from outside the European Union (EU), you'll have to pay any tax and/or duty once the goods arrive in the UK. Normally Royal Mail/Parcelforce will pay what's due on your behalf and may charge a handling fee which you must pay before your parcel can be delivered." ![>:D](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/superangry.png)
