Hmmm. That's contrary to everything I have managed to find about it.
Maybe I will take a wee evod with me and some juice. But I aint sure yet. Might just go with the smokes this time, and try to find out the script for next time.

The draw is too tight for me, and I have to double the wattage to get any sense of a hit from it. I guess I like an airy draw, as that seems to be what the Kanger stuff is supposed to be giving, but it feels right to me. That said, my mini Protanks did feel a little airy to begin with, as did the protank, but now I'm used to them, they feel perfect for me.
I am tempted to try some of these more expensive ones, like the kayfun lite, or russian 91%, but I can't help but think I'd be better off with just sticking to my cheapo protanks.

It's not a huge amount. But a few hundred quid. Would go some way to paying off the 18 months I wasn't working the UK and not paying NI.

Davide Mega? Might be a nice change? But probably a bit Protank-ish.
I don't like my iClear30, so I can't comment on what's better than that, as I love my Protanks and hate the iClear.

These are the batteries I got recently and they are great : www.fasttech.com/products/1420/10001980/1233700Not sure what the difference is between the green and the grey though? I also have the NCR18650B's but they don't fit in my SID I had a Trustfire TR001 charger with my Vamo, and it was gash. Got a Nitecore (actually got 2 of them now D'oh), and it's a MUCH better charger. So I would always go for them. Although I went for the I4 with the car adaptor (not that I think I'll ever use the car adaptor), but for an extra fiver, it's gotta be worth it. Do you not have an old stereo or something kicking about with the correct power chord? I have a drawer full of cables like that, so I never even thought about having to buy one, lol.

Imo the Mega and Mini Davide beat the Protanks, looks wise and vape wise. I may well try a Mega next time I'm buying something. Ha ha. I got one of them letters yesterday too. Where's mine, lost in the post again I suppose. Pleased for you and missrenata... nice to get something back! I knew I was due, and knew how much. Just waiting on the letter coming through. But then I did only start working back in the UK in December, so knew I had overpaid quite a bit of tax, as well as National Insurance. Although I aint sure if I get that back?

Looks like I have the long too.
I have only changed one out and it didn't work with my SID. But then the SID was also from HC and was also dodgy.
I am cleaning all my evods and protanks tonight, bar one, and will change out all the heads while I'm at it, and report back.
That said, I am off to Norway tomorrow, for an undisclosed period of time. Should be back in a fortnight, so wont really be able to comment until then as ecigs are illegal over there.
EDIT: As I type this, I have just realised that I'm vaping a protank on my SID. Now, with this in mind, it was only the Protank that I changed the coil on, and this is the only atty I aint cleaning tonight. But the end result is that now I'm using my new Panasonic 18650PD in the SID (The 18650B was too fat), and the protank is obviously working now on it. Weird. Unless it was my mini-protank I changed it on? I can't remember at the minute. Confused.

Ha ha. I got one of them letters yesterday too. Was toying with a Protank 2 or Davide, with MVP V2. But I did just buy another car, and that swallowed up most of the rebate. Booooo...

I have a SID, and it is pretty nice. A LOT lighter than my Vamo.
BUT, as you say, the single operation button bugs my happiness. It's not that it's not intuitive or anything, as it works well. However, the Vamo you can adjust the power output easily, without looking at the device. The SID, and any other single button device, you are having to look at the screen in order to make adjustment, no matter how small.
Never had or tried an SVD yet though, but the MVP V2 is going to be my next mod purchase for sure.

Well, didn't work out quite as planned.
As it is illegal to even import e-cigs, I decided not to take anything, so was on the smokes from 6.30 this morning when I left for the airport.
Checked in and went through security, picked up my duty free cigs, and waiting at the departure gate to get on the plane when the boss calls, and the job has been delayed, so I had to see if it was too late to re-arrange the flight until Saturday. Luckily I managed to do that, so went and got my bag.
Of course, now I am still in the country, but at the airport. Have a 3 hour wait on the wife getting back onto dry land before I can get home and vape again, so I am stuck smoking until then. Got home around 13:30, so had 7 hours of smoking today (probably at least 7-10 cigs). Boooooooooo.
It is a shame, but I am not worried about it. Didn't particularly enjoy smoking cigs, but didn't find them overly disgusting either. I was happy to get back and get on the e-cigs again, as was the wife. And the duty frees were gone within 10 mins of my return for what I paid for them, so happy days. Can always get more on Saturday when I get back to the airport anyway.

Going offshore tomorrow in Norway, and just found out that e-cigs are completely banned over there. As in Norway, not just offshore. Great.
Back on the stinkies for this trip. Hopefully back on the e-cigs when I come back in a week or so...
Wish me luck it's not a permanent slip to stinkies...
NRT isn't gonna touch the sides, and besides, I have no way of sorting it out before I go, so that isn't an option.

I laughed. Problems with getting cheap batteries, looking for advice, then going and buying more cheap batteries.
Anyway, I have no problem using my protected Panasonics (3600mah) in my Vamo. But I do find the don't last twice as long as my 1200mah 18350's never mind 3 times as long. Plus, 18350 mode is nicer to hold, so take it out all day like that, and change to either 18650 mode, swap 18350's or use my SID
