That chuckled at . . . . most of my tanks are top fill now and don't dump eliquid on filling with the airflow open.
I've have had a couple in the past however which no matter what I've tried have still spewed liquid, they've not lasted long and have swiftly been consigned to the bin - can't be doing with faff. For whatever reason some designs of tanks just seem to be pre-disposed to the issue. I'm soooooooo glad it's not just me lol thanks hun, made me feel better I have rebuildables like that, you manages to wick them once or twice well then it just pisses out most other times, maybe in my case it's a VGAnon conspiracy against PG vapers

No expert, I have not used them much, but close the air flow before filling and if the top-cap is screw-down type them turn upside down as soon as you can when screwing it down, it creates a little pressure as reduces the air volume.

Another vote for the Xtar SC1, single bay even sausage fingers can get a grip
while at home the leads are well out of the way, and for travel I take one or two and can even get 2 A charging from a power bank,
Hmmm that doesn't seem a bad idea tbh I have their rocket 2 port which I do find the best I've had so far. The 4 ports just get on my nerves And it is just plane simple, no settings just plug in and insert battery, then take out when the 4 LEDs stay on.

I use xtar but tbh I hate all chargers for the reason that there's never enough room between the battery ports. I find myself picking at the top of batteries to remove them, which eventually results in having to re-wrap them. If anyone has solved this problem I'd love to here it 😁 Another vote for the Xtar SC1, single bay even sausage fingers can get a grip

Loving the Xtar SC2 2 Amp USB chargers, got 6, as they keep the cells far cooler than other 2 A charges because the voltage converter does not dump as much heat into the connection points. They have some larger fast USB charges, but as they need Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 they are probably converting down from 12 V so I would expect similar heat to more traditional chargers.

Sounds like an atty internal connection issue, I get them after about 6 months to a year of use. Cooked juice and other verdigris in the threads between all the metal bits of the atty, and or it can be earth connection from board to mod body that has degraded, normally loosening and tightening a few times fixes that.
For the first I believe the as soon as you put vaping current through it it bridges the gunk and effectively has a lower resistance than when the tiny current for monitoring res is applied. In the past I have told people this and they swear the atty is clean and all the connections are tight, I've been there they are tight and it looks clean. Never underestimate how much hidden gunk gets in there over time and every time I get the symptoms you describe it is one of these reasons. The last one that did this to me was a SXK VapeShell, it took several goes, 3 I think, believing I had got it clean each time, I started with a full strip down though in the end it was cleaning the coil screw holes with a pipe-cleaner and IPA was the detail I missed the first couple of times.
If you are not using temp limiting it would be fine in wattage mode as that does not rely on any resistance measurement.
