Thanks for the replies and all the good info and the battery arrived this afternoon and has just finished charging as I'm typing. About 8 - 9 hours. Is this OK? Charger is an Xtar MP1S. I believe that charger charges at .5a, which should take just over 6 hours to fully charge your 3100mah battery But... batteries are not usually shipped completely flat... should arrive with about 40% charge Cycle it a couple of times and see what the charge time is like

i think standards are: usb 2.0 = 500ma usb 3.0 = 900ma but usb ports on pcs/laptops are rated to 1.5amp, and some laptops have 'fast charging ports' on them nowadays

My orchid v3 arrived yesterday, yet to put a build in it, but looking at it I'd say get one over a fogger. My love for the fogger is well documented on this forum, but i'll admit it's not the easiest build. The orchid looks like all the best bits of a fogger, but with better posts. I'll report back once i've put a build in it. But.... if you really want a fogger (and they are great).. £20 get's you an authentic from M Vapes or myepack... and it will be with you in a few days, not a few weeks.

Have you tried the aspire tank on the ipv? I would think the aspire gives a better vape than the kanger. The tank makes more difference than the mod a lot of the time. If you really want the best out of your ipv, it's suggest an rba (or even better an rda) if you're confident enough to have a go at building your own coils. I have the sigelei 50w which uses the same chip and the vape is fantastic with rba's/rda's

As a secondary security measure, which is the best Avast or Avira? Both good, but I prefer Avira. Both free as well, so if you don't like one try the other...

I've only just realised that the voltage is displayed I'll compare what the 2 of them display using the same battery later on, if there is a large discrepancy I can use that as my example for Doris Thanks guys At the moment my black one displays 4.7v using 20w on a 1.2ohm coil (and tastes bleddy marvellous) If you read the post 2 above you would have realised 2 hours ago..... And yup, my black one, 1.1ohm/20w/4.7v But still at work, so haven't checked it on the volt meter yet......

That will check the voltage... I suppose I could work out the wattage using ohms law but really wanted an easy method I don't see it making much difference Q, you need to know it's output... measured as volts or watts..... as long as you can compare one mod to the other so you know if you have a problem (but it already sounds like you do!! ) The Hana clone shows it's voltage output on the screen (changes as you adjust wattage), so I'll stick my inline volt meter on it after work and see if it matches up. If it's accurate I can send it to you to test yours if you don't want to buy one

Welcome Mandrose. This is a good starter kit: www.vapeescape.co.uk/Deluxe-Vaping-Kits/Aspire-Premium/Aspire-Premium-Starter-Kit.Html?cPath=18_119It may seem dear compared to some starter kits, but if you start with the really cheap kit you will more likely be upgrading sooner anyway. And... a better tank will give you a better vape than the really cheap cartomizers you get with some kits As a 15 a day smoker I'd think about 18mg. 24 will be quite harsh on your throat... the thing with nic level is how much you think you will be vaping. If you are going to pick it up in the morning, and then again at lunch time you will need a higher nic level to get you through the day... if you are able to vape more frequently a lower nic level will get you through, while being nicer to vape. Get some 10ml testers from Joose Juice (£1.50 a pop), and order a few flavours that you fancy in 18 and 24, then you can see how you like them before you splash the cash on bigger bottles. (try the Caramel Blend... tis awesome!!!)
