you wouldn't be able to suck up 4 inches of glass fibres thru the mouth piece. but make sure thers nothing in there that can burn. but then you'd taste it if there was. is the needle plate in place? is the hole blocked up (with the wick)?

True but wicks are very brittle and disintegrate and shed fibres do they not?

Being technically challenged, I'll just pop it in the post to you, along with the attie and cart. It won't be menthol crystals since I don't vape that. It really is like a skinny bit of string.
Is your postal address on the website?

maccafan: not in my experience. we're talking about a new one here, anyway. should be ductile. aren't they ductile for years?

lynwlt: if you really want to you can send it to me. i will pm postal address. but tbh, if it's 4 inches, it just sounds like something that shouldn't be there. i would just chuck it and have a look inside the atty. if it looks ok, i should think it is ok. i will find or take a piccy to upload.

I see what you're saying but the point is that there is, and presumably should be, a little bit of wick showing on the as yet unused tank attie. On the one that produced the 'worm', there is now just a hole...

Stanton, I'm not complaining, just thought you might be interested in knowing what had happened. I'll just throw it away...

Bendy and light and easy to work with yes. Plastic? No. Tough? No. But they do break off and shed fibres very easily and hence brittle. When you re-wick anything do you not get broken fibres shedding from the wick? I think we all know the answer to that one.

it's a woven thread. different threads come apart. and can be broken by hand. lets not argue about the words. but brittle isn't a word i'd use.
