I will be strong and resist. Hopefully they sell out before I cave in.

seems like the suppliers are getting rid of their old Lavatube stocks before the new models come in.
Sent from my HTC smartphone Predictive text is a piece of shot.

What new models are they Des? Are we talking chrome, or SS, or another version? I'd like to know.

Have a look on the Vapour Hut site he is doing the Lavatube 2.1 with a higher current output and more functions. Like being able to measure the resistance of a carto Sent from my HTC smartphone Predictive text is a piece of shot.

I could not resist, I know I have 2 LT's already, but one of them is a bit loose so now I have the excuse to take it apart and use the internals in one of my mods which is going to be a real shiney one

The varitube X ie., the LT with the higher current rating and resistance check function has been on sale for sometime now in the US in black and silver. Yeah but they are the ones from Hifistuds thread, about them being copies of the LT from another company and they weren't supposed to be so good. At least I think, I am getting a little confused by all the different versions.

Yeah but they are the ones from Hifistuds thread, about them being copies of the LT from another company and they weren't supposed to be so good. At least I think, I am getting a little confused by all the different versions. As I understand it.. L Rider is the company that made the original LT..Let's call it V1. Then a company called UNIQ made another clone of it and sold it cheaper..These are the ones currently flooding the market and suffer from switch issues. Let's call it V 1.5 Then another company called Young June started making silver, chrome and stainless versions and started flooding the market, driving down the prices even more. Still similar electronics so V1.5. L-Rider also released a Silver version with the name screen printed on the body. This is what it looks like: They also released a chrome version. But I suspect they will also supply without the screen printing making it indistinguishable from the others. So the name lavatube is now generic like, the stardust or ego, despite the fact that there are several manufacturers of the same or similar product. The new one is from Young June and reports are that it works fine at 3-4 amps..
