seriously scylla,
you just dangle a piece of meat (pork scraps) they grip it and hold on.you pull them up (some drop off) put them in a bucket of sea water and release every 30 mins.
no hooks, no nets and there not big enough too eat.
apparently its a norfolk thing, but it was fun. theres always about 30 kids and mum dads doing it on the quay.
the funny thing was when i went for my dinner (local thai) she said she would give me £40 for that amount, they eat them, jeez theres more meat on a butchers pencil. lol

Oh well been doing a karoke all day sice 4 due to end and midnight ........ all i got is drunk people screening soz of their sunburn the faint aroma of stail bar b que smoke and suntan lotion and every sing is worse than the one before and drunker ....... sunny days and too much alcohol and salmonella burgers...... what more could you want out of your Sunday.

It was a scorcher here yesterday & looks like being the same again today MM, we had that cold wind for ages as well, made it felt like living in the Antarctic - last few days it's felt more like being in the Mediterranean

I've been in the tropics today = my neighbours' lounge. Theirs faces south like mine, but they've just had double-glazing done and the curtains aren't up, and they're Indian and hardly have the windows open - tis like an oven. But I had to stick it out because their laptop has been invaded by spyware/trojan/whatever and I can't fix it, I'm going to try to bring it in here tomorrow and have a go.

Oh, i missed you lot....was in Slough from Thurs night till Friday afternoon and it felt like abroad then thro the tunnel to France (dont ask me where, i prob couldn't pronounce it, lol)

I went a bit OTT wit the sun am crisp n dry and have a peely nose

a lot cooler here today, but i'm still gettin the barby out later
