alcohol or alcohol wipes - where to get either?

Where is the best place to get either?

Went into my local Boots today to get a bottle and the woman on the counter very sharply asked me why did I want it, so explained about the e-cig and wanted it to clean the connections.

Think it was the wrong thing to say as she got all sharp with me and said every bluntly "no"!! Then walked away from me, so I called her back and said that if they didnt have it in a bottle, then how about alcohol wipes? Again the sharp response of no! and the walking away from me. I decided not to upset the poor dear any further and left.

Where I live there is only Boots and one independent chemist and a small Superdrug, neither of them had any in stock, is there anywhere else I can get it or is the only other place ebay?

I got alcohol wipes from ebay!

You could try your small independent chemist, they are usually much beter than Boots. I get annoyed in Boots at 12 year old assistants cross questioning me on what I want to buy, I find it quite insulting at times!

I got mine from Ebay Esme . . . although I'm sure I've seen them on a Vendor's site, but I can't think who now.

I got wipes from Amazon. They also do bottles of isopropyl alcohol.

Cloud 9 vaping do them, though they are a bit pricier.

The attitude of Boots staff is rapidly going downhill, I dont think they understand the term customer care lol! At least the lady in the independent chemist said to me that they do get it in occasionally, but they havent had it in for a while..............she suggested I go to Brighton and try there, I wont be able to get there until next week, so will get some from ebay and make sure that I keep it in stock!!

thanks ellen........ yes perpy put a link up and they had some so they should be here by weekend if I am lucky lol, if not next week. I had a small bottle that I got from a chemist in town when I first started vaping, but he retired and it closed down!!

Or the pound shop as said above or next time tell the lady its cos your cats ill and you need to make sure your surfaces are sanitised

Really strange response though as I am sure if even if she didn't have exactly what you wanted I am sure there are literally hundreds of things she could have sold you a substitute, nail varnish remover, glasses cleaner, hand sanitizer emm perfume if you want to blow your budget entirely , very odd though I know the type of Boots staff you mean , but the ones in my local one are lovely they tell me they like my new hair colour and my Mum asks me if I know the staff when she comes with me cos I just chat away to them , I do spend a LOT of money there tho ...............................

I would go back in, or send someone else to look at her name badge, then report her to head office with the branch address.
