Hi everyone.

Fantastic forum you have here

After 26 years of heavy smoking I have reached the point where I am really starting to feel the negative effects. I have tried countless times to stop using various patches, tablets etc with no success, though the nicotine was being supplied the habit of lighting up and inhaling was always far too strong so back I went to the evil weed
I have been reading lots and lots of threads on here and elsewhere about the best kits to start off with and I am dizzy with all of the options available! I have found the following and was wondering if it would be considered a decent start up kit (quality and reliability) and at a good price. I would rather buy the right kit first time than spend £££ experimenting.

That is a pretty good kit apart from the CE4 visions, a lot of vendors have ditched them due to problems

Seriously, if you want to get it right first time then ego twists are the way to go www.vapeescape.co.uk/joyetech-ego-c-twist-vv~367 the 900mah is the better trade off between battery life and size. I have a whole stack of high end mods here but still like to use the twist
You'll need a usb charger for it and rather than the CE4 I would go with these www.vapeescape.co.uk/vision-ego-rainbow-v3-rebuildable~388 in 2.4ohms. Great attie tanks and look good on the twist.

Even better, you get get 2 twists for the price of one from www.vapo.ro. Romanian supplier, but the delivery is £3 odd and it only took 5 days for mine to arrive. Other than that, as blakeyhas said, www.vapeescape.co.uk is a good place to start looking for good kits. A lot of people on here have bought the Riva 1100 kit form there and all say great things about it.

Hi Pamo.
Please don't make the mistake I did, I started close to 3 weeks ago now and only got myself tobacco flavour juice at 1st, within a few days I was close to going back to the evil ones as I just got sick of the taste. Get yourself a couple of different flavours so you can swap between. Strange thing I have found is a lot of the flavours that I thought would be terrible turned out to be some of my favourites!

I use 24mg nic juice, and found it works most of the the time for me. It all depends on personal preference, I have had 6 rollups in the past 21(ish) days which is fantastic for me! (the last one was Sunday) I prefer cartomisers rather than clearomisers (personal choice again, lots of people prefer clearomisers) and found once I got myself some low resistance cartomisers thing worked even better.
Lots of learning to do but people on this forum have been wonderful help and made it so much easier.

Blakeys advice is good and I would get a few flavours, not just one, you may not like it or fancy a change and it is fun to have different flavours at different times of the day, keeps the interest up

I agree with you that the draw and the inhale is the habit that is hard to break, the fact that patches haven't been successful (as it wasn't with me ) proves that. I was a heavy smoker for 45 years and I have not relented now for nearly three months and have no inclination to go back to the death sticks. I am using the Riva 1100 with a clearomiser and get plenty to inhale.
I also agree with Ant that you should try something other than the tobacco flavour, I found a lemon menthol to be the one that made me happy although I hated Menthol cigarettes,

oooooo may just have to give that a go - considering i didnt enjoy menthol fags I'm going quite potty for any menthol juices especially when they have an extra flavour!

I better not be - you just cost me £15!!!!!!!! (well I couldnt justify paying postage on one 5ml taster could I?) I also got opal fruits which i've been desperate to taste and sour apple!

If you do go for the ego twist that Blakey & Benny recommend, do bear in mind you will need to buy 2 of them as well as vision egos, juice & a charger.
