Where are all the Wasps

I know,stupid question,but I couldn't sleep last night,it felt really humid in my room,so opened the window and thought,hope nothing flies in because it was a case of sleep on top of the bed and try to cool off,then this thought hit me,this year well since spring,I haven't seen a wasp.

This is true because I run away and go into complete silly panic when there around

I've only seen a couple. Maybe they will come out soon as the weather hasn't been that great and pester us through September.

I am wondering if the amount rain prevented them from building there nests,perhaps they cant fly when their wet so i need to carry around a spray bottle lol

Put one out of its misery about an hour a go. We've had more wasps than flied this year

Not a lot of wasps this year, one chased me around a bus stop the other day

Not so many bees about either, which is a bit of a worry.

S'pose it's hard to fly with wet wings..

Don't care where they are, but I'd like them to stay there .

I had one of those battery operated tennis bat style fly swatters the other year from the pound shop,was really effective especially with small children

Yeah they are more common in September....I do however get a lot of Mortar Bees in my garden. They are really sweet
