Been there, done that Blue. I now keep a SD Keyring in the car for such emergencies. I don't know about other people, but I find that if I can't vape for whatever reason, it's not such a panic as being unable to smoke was. Good luck Exactly the same for me. I stick my travelling pouch in my pocket when I'm leaving the house; it's got two Ego batteries, a couple of cartos and a 10ml e-juice bottle in it. A couple of times I've forgotten it and had to survive several hours without any form of vape and the thought of smoking a stinky just makes me totally swerve it. As you say, it's survivable and the second time it happened, no big deal. Makes me wonder if I'm somewhere further along the road to quitting nic entirely at some point - which was my long term intention anway.

Well done Blue knew you could do it I don't know how long I could actually go without a vape but I can certainly go longer than when I was on the fags

From the experience of giving up fags many times and then succumbing again, is that stopping nicotine is a long term process.
The last time I stopped smoking for was the longest period yet, 18 months. I thought that I had really cracked it this time. I was wrong. Nicotine calms the nerves and in everyday living, when there is no need to have that extra boost to calm shattered nerves, everything is fine and dandy.
Then I got myself into a situation where I was totally gutted and I either got to hell out of there, losing a lot of money and ruining a holiday, or, I bought a pack of fags. Fags were the only answer I had at that time. The trouble was that every time I stopped and then started again, I was smoking more.
Okay, in the same situation and if I was stopping using nicotine, it wouldn't be so bad if I was just going back to vaping, but for those of you that are thinking of stopping nicotine altogether, I beg you to find some way of carrying some nicotine with you at all times, as you never know when you could get a bite in the bum from a bad experience.
Play safe and carry a charged carto.
