It comes down to battery life Pacer, we are all different how we vape, the mini with the 18350 battery doesn't last some people very long, the standard with ext cap lasts most people all day. I get a good 6/8 hours out of my mini with 18350 battery and a good day and a half in my standard with the 18650 battery. I don't own any of the other batteries to give you a clue how long they would last. I get 6/8 hrs from a Riva/Ego 650 battery and all day from a 1000 mah...those examples are for you to compare my vaping to yours to judge what you would get (roughly) if your using an Ego/Riva

Thanks guys, an 18650 in the Gripper is doing me a day only I have to change the batteries in the evening, so it looks like the mini is going to be no good to me. Is anyone aware who is holding stock of the standard ones, I know e-cig wizards had some of to have a look.
brianfletch, would my existing 2 18650 batteries be no good for the new Provari? I see you say 18490!

If I cane the mini with that smal 18350 battery, it gives me between 2 and three hours of solid chane vaping.

Pacer, Provari say that you should use AW IMR batts with it, and i concurr a mini would not last me long at all, the standard is a mini compared to my LT, so i can see me getting an extension cap soon, standard lasts me during the day then another batt for the evening.

I'd certainly recommend trying a Genesis type atomiser pacer, but I would definitely not start with an Orion. In a weak moment I put my name down for one ages ago and just had a notification to say it is on its way. Let me quote a little bit of what the man who makes them says in the notification:
"I suppose that everyone who bought Orion knows what he bought, and can handle him Orion is the most difficult mod and subjected to test your skill"
Ooer!

Pacer, I'm interested in what you write as I have a provari and use vivi novas on it. I too get through about 2 heads a week (at least), but it depends on the head. I bought about 25 and a few whole units. I'm not sure what you mean by "I go through a tank a week" I presume you don't mean a tank of liquid, but you can't wear out the tanks, they last for what seems for ever. The heads are different and seem to come with some working very well and some not. When they start not producing the flavour I desire, I wash then in hot water and leave them to dry, they are always good when I use them again, the good ones get better in fact. The bad ones probably need to be rebuilt with wire and wick, but I haven't needed to do that yet. I'm in Oundle, in you want to come over and have a go with my provari, you are more that welcome. And discuss the vivi's etc.

Something that we've found with the Nova heads is that some of the rubber caps (directly over the head) are slightly longer than others.
If you get that scenario - just snip a tiny bit off them with scissors.
If they are too long and you screw the cap on tightly - they trap the wicks and prevent the flow of juice.

It could be, but I personally think it's down to the way the heads are built, with the wick and the wire. I can see a good head when I take it out of it's condom most of the time, the wire is in the middle and the wick is central and just the right length, not too long and not too short (I use the short wick heads). But I'll keep your idea in mind Jason, thanks, and try it out on the next bad one. I have tried it before, but I think I took too much off the cap, it only needs a tiny bit.

Anyway back on track, I really mean tanks it’s costing me a dam fortune. The problem is I’m addicted to Vermillion River Salmiakki, it really needs a metal or stainless tank, it strips the plastic of the Vivi’s and btw I’m now on my 2nd Gripper. So I must make sure that when I purchase my Provari next week I need to find a suitable tank for it. I also find with the Vivi’s I’m just not getting the flavour. I do, like you wash wicks daily or every other day, but still find the flavour lacking. I have kept quite about this because I know most people rate them very highly; they just don’t do it for me. I have just switched to the Visions V3 and the flavour is just superb in my opinion, however I’m off the Salmiakki at the moment, until I find something that it works with. O’M.G Just noticed your kind offer and the fact that you are only 20 minutes away from me. I may well take you up on that offer, if so I will PM you.

You can get metal tanks for the vivi's.
Don't worry about dissing something everyone else likes, peoples tastes and expectations are different. You'll find many people will say that a vivi head will last for a couple of weeks, yet I've not found that to be the case.
I don't wash the wicks daily, just when they need doing, some will last for a week and some for a day. I had one the other day last for a week and a half ish. That was a 2nd or third time reused one, as I said, they seem to get better with use.
I tried the Salmiakki, but didn't like it, I expect the guys at ecigwiz can best advise which tank to use with it.
