Yes, I put one of the brown filter tips from Jason on the Skycig just to check yesterday and they worked fine.

Sorry to hear about your dad Ant, dementia is such a cruel disease. Hope they can find a suitable care home soon for him

That’s a very kind offer Tim; I may need to take you up on that. I will try to do a rotation and see how long it takes before he loses one.
I have been unable to get to see him 2 days this week and I think at the age of 76 he must be busting for a ciggy, shame he can’t communicate. People keep telling me he will forget about smoking but he still smiles when I give him one, he has nothing else in his life (Mods: not going to test here but are swearing acronyms on the list? ). He was smoking a 50g pack of tobacco a day 3 years ago until I took control.
Lol, just noticed the Furby by the side of my screen that I found a few months back. I gave it to dad whilst he was still here and he c̶e̶n̶s̶o̶r̶e̶d̶ loved chatting with it. I can’t wait for the new one to come out, that’s going to upset a lot of nursing staff on night shift.

My mum had dementia Ant. She stopped smoking when she retired at 60. When she got dementia in her 70s she forgot that she'd stopped smoking, anytime any smokers went to visit her we had to share her with our ciggies

Karma, dementia can be so cruel and so funny at the same time. I found dads case notes in his room a few weeks back and read them, they assessed he had a mental age of 3 but I find this quite surprising as I didn't start smoking until I was 6!

Yes ant, it has it's funny moments and a sense of humour is a plus point when dealing with such a sad illness #grouphug#
