It just feels wrong to have to use blu tak on such a beautifully engineered piece. Youll get there Des, there is definitely a learning curve

Like I said the only thing I was doing wrong from blakeys tutorial, was not tightening that actual base onto the provari enough, before then dropping that centre thread down to make the contact. (if that makes sense) Tightening the draw, then comes from tightening or slacking that base from the penny.

Your using it on your provari des? Yup, but I've tried a mini lavatube and a Ego as well.

I noticed it had an airy draw first couple of times I used it. Messed about quite a bit with the centre post and now have it nice. I also used the Blakey special way of building the wick but with 3mm wick with and extra piece in the coil which has improved it again. I also got my 3.5mm wick today and tried the same method and have to say, it is great now. Once the wick breaks in it is quality. I'm finding it hard to put it down.
I'm using it on a twist and have the 20mm tank adaptor thingy. It doesn't tighten flush to the adaptor, so if I screw the adaptor right up to the base of penny, it tightens the draw a bit.

Des, As blakey, or one day said to me. If you tighten down that penny base onto the provari.
Then slowly screw down the coil whilst pushing the fire button until it fires. Then leaving things as they are, immediatley tighten the locking ring and put on the juice control cap on, you won't be able to draw at all. It would simply be air tight.
It was at this point the penny dropped for me.

Just thinking I gotta go back to square one when I get my provari tomorrow going to have to follow tips on here for getting the draw right on Penelope and need to get the resistance of my coils up so that I can properly play with the voltage tunings on provari just when I thought I was getting it sussed

Well, my Penny arrived today! Found it a bit of a bugger to do the coil/wick but just about managed it Following Blakey's guide and checking out Scott's review on youtube i seem to have managed to get it set up pretty nice on the Provari, getting a nice draw and plenty vapour with it so i'm a happy camper! Quick question, where's the best place to get spares from (coil wire and wick) and what will i need to buy? The kit came with two lengths of wire (resistance and non) plus two lengths of wick.......... would be nice if they shipped a build guide with it eh
