The Joytech has its name on the front, the Desan is blank. The Joytech has a greyed out LED when it is off and the Desan has an yellow coloured LED when it is off. The Joytech will stay in my tray and the Desan will go in the bin, or back to the supplier.

My thanks to Jason at Vape Escape who posted out a freebie and correct main/usb charger even although it was another companies mistake.
I emailed the other company and they have sent an email saying, "We will look into it". ???

Thanks to Jason, I now have enough usb chargers to organise my own Vapefest and thanks to others on here, I have now ordered a 7 port usb/mains port hub.

Chargers PAH drive me mad some light up green when empty some red when full some blue some yellow some start geen and stay green, I'm confused! Think I'll be getting a 7 port too! The only way I know they've charged is if they puff! Over night is bad because they could blow up, but it would be the only time mine would get a good Julie free charge lol Jules

To be honest Jules I always charge my batteries over night. Sitting on an empty bit of the kitchen worktop away from flammables. I've heard lots of stories of chargers failing to charge, but none about batteries blowing up whilst on charge

I may do it again OneDay, I used to do just that until I heard the scare stories! They're selling a protective charging bag now, it's just the size of a small plastic make up bag - think it's about £5-£7 lol, whatever next! I'd say 510s are at less danger of exploding than mods as you hear of big bats exploding in pockets etc when they're not even attached to hardware! I have a weird thing with my ego! is it normal for a charger cable to hold charge when unplugged? mine carries on charging when it's taken out of wall, USB, car or whatever, I can't work it out! anyone else had this??? I will get a multi port though of some kind soon, my chargers are pretty cr*ppy! Jules

My motherboard stays on standby when the PC is off,so I often have my egos attached and charging on the PC overnight

Then again "overnight" can be just 4 or 5 hours for me.

If any of you are going for a mains USB hub, I'd suggest it would be best go for one that has an output of at least 2A.

Can anyone explain what happened to my ego when on charge in the cigarette lighter socket last night? I was going to be out of my car for a couple of hours (and for some reason this same strange charger holds energy and carries on charging when I leave it plugged in to socket with engine switched off)! it defo does as this model has LCD bars on it like a phone on charge, zapping up and down 4 bars continuously.
So I was hesitant to leave it plugged, so unplugged it and put it on front seat, but left it attached to charger lead!
When I came back, it seemed totally dead and blue light was flashing continuously! Had a job to stop it! It's done this a few times today. I thought it was knackered but think it just needed a good charge. Do they flash like that when they are totally dead, bit off topic I know, but curious as we're talking about chargers!
Answers on a postcard cheers Jules

According to my friend who is a physics teacher if you leave it attached to the lead but switched off as in mains switched off it can drain the battery. I don't know if that's true or not though

No makes perfect sense, thanks as that's what seemed to happen, totally drained of life! Can't understand where the current comes from though long term when it's unplugged??? but will take care to dismantle cable from batteries when I switch mains sockets off - ta Jules

Thanks for putting me onto this. I have bought one and it is working well. It has a 3A input and a 5V - 2000mA output, more than enough for any chargers I am likely to use with it.
