Re the dripping, its just as easy to use an empty (insert tank/atty name here), a few drops of your new liquid on the coil, plenty enough to try your own juices. screwing the lid on and off is the only issue O/K Skwoddy Do you mean take the top off my Did put a few drops on my coil, top back on and try it.

John, The DID is designed to suck the liquid up from the tank as you vape, the heating of the coil vaporises the juice and causes the wick (via capillary action) to pull up more liquid from the stock of liquid in the tank, to replace the liquid already vaporised. This happens during the draw / suck....
So if you just put juice on the coil part you would only get a very short drag before it all vaporised and started tasting burnt (a dry hit).
You would need to make sure the wick was soaked with juice (defeating the object), but even then, it may still be “hit and miss”.
I don’t think this is the best method, and the DID (or other Genesis type copies) are not made or suited for this. I would, if you want to “Drip” as you say to experience flavours without filling the tank, go with a dripping atty, designed for this method to obtain a true representation of the flavour etc, after all this is what they are designed for obtaining the best results.
I cannot advise you more on this, as I have never used one, but would be interested in your views if you do.

Dave, It would most likely be OK, If I have read it correctly it is a “Food Grade” but a “Pharmaceutical Grade” would be better.... Why not get some from the link I have posted on page 5, "99.9% pure Pharmaceutical Grade Vegetable Glycerine" at £4,99 with free P&P, it works out cheaper as well. VG can be very thick and gloopy to use, a good tip is to add between 5% and 10% (some add more, but I find this enough) to a new bottle of VG, there is usually enough space at the top of a new bottle, then give it a good shake and leave to infuse for a few hours, when all the bubbles have gone, it’s ready to use. You then have VG at a useable consistency (still treat it as 100% VG when doing your calculations for mixes, it will make no difference).

Dave Dave, You are going to be making lots of juice By the time you have added your nicotine base, flavours, a little PG, etc they will add up to about 50% of the juice (on average). If you used just VG for the remaining 50%, then 1ltr will give you enough for about 200 x 10ml bottles. At 5ml a day that is over a years worth of juice.... Well done.

Very nice Froggy, that's your new GGTS watch out, Luner will be after it John, yes ask Perpy if you can buy a dripping atty or two off of her, her prices are excellent, to be honest, the taste from dripping is one of the best and a true way to taste your juice

Talking of pics and DID's.... here is a pic of some "Rainbow Juice" being vapourised in a DID (not one of mine - but I love this pic).
