Johny boy, is the first rule of rebuildables.
You always need three hands whenever take anything apart. Failing that, I always take apart and reassemble over a table and even then, make sure my hands are only inches above the table. That way if and when I drop something, its only got a few inches to fall.
I dont know what it is, but some of these parts and designed to slip out of your hands!

I dont know what it is, but some of these parts and designed to slip out of your hands! ^^THIS^^ I have an A2 Cutting board (one of those green jobs with the inbuilt ruler printed on it) , slap it on the pc table and were rocking. Ive found that the chance of losing an item is in direct proportion to how much you need it!!
