Chrissie and Scylla, they have become paranoid here since 911. The government thinks that everyone is a potential terrorist. I haven't flown in years, but my understanding is that the people who have been hired for airport security, leave much to be desired as far as courtesy and friendliness. Chrissie, you are lucky that they didn't strip search you and I'm not joking when I say that.

Oh dear....the tears are running down my face here, but i think i have the spelling wrong i thought Perpy was calling Kenny a bad name ok...as you were She may have been Lilac and miss spelled it I have been called a cretin before though lol. Ken, I would think that someone from Crete would be called a Creten, with an "e", not an "i".

What about you Jerry I don't know what kind of critters they have there in the UK, Ken. Those look to me like prints from a two legged creature, rather than a four legged one. Maybe a kangaroo ?

Its actually a Cretan Jerry but the cretin bit is just a joke with Lilac. I am not a Cretan but am what the Cretan,s call a Xenia, which can mean politely an honoured guest or impolitely a foreigner lol. You can only be a Cretan if you are born here and as I am Irish it does not count.

I'm pretty sure we don't have hares in Streatham Course, if we did they'd move too fast for doddery me to see them. I have seen 4 foxes sunbathing in that garden, and several out front on the main road cavorting - that was before I put so much junk up against the windows that I can no longer look out - and last year one gorgeous specimen (healthy coat, huge bushy tail) ate some spag bol I threw out of my kitchen window for him. I lost many foxy photos on a hard drive that broke scylla

Scylla, in the winter, I used to put out bread for the birds. A few years ago, I noticed that at dusk, an injured gray fox would hobble up to the bread, take one piece and hobble away. This went on every night for about a week. I felt bad for the critter, but there was nothing that I could do to help it, except to keep putting out bread. BTW, I was just joking with you too, when I said that you are on my list, along with Lilac. You are my friend, it was just a joke.

Perpy, we have gone above freezing, but not by much, for the first time in over a week. Our Sunday snowstorm was cancelled, the storm is going farther out to sea. Thank God for that !! I still think that it was a kangaroo.

I still think that it was a kangaroo. That would be so nice - I would have an all-night vigil but the body-clock's only just started righting itself so I don't want to disturb it scylla x
