I have had this once from accidentally dropping in the atty, I have also heard of it happening when people have just cleaned the vivi nova, and reassembled it before it's totally dry. Any moisture in the threads will allow capillary action to suck your juice in when you draw on it.
For this reason I dry mine with kitchen roll after every wash, and ensure that no dampness is left
It could also be worth checking the silicone rubber on the atty, to ensure it's not slipped, and is still forming a seal with the top

Thanks Goth. The top of the battery was awash with juice too I've had it apart again cleaned all threads, there is still a rubber ring on the new head I put on, it is tightened down well, the silicone cap thingy is pressed down well too, I hope this cures it. Pam

One of the things I was told to check is that the silicon ring on the bottom of the head (not the drip tip) is still intact. Mind you mine was and it's still flooding so am waiting to get some new heads and going to try those.

Yup it was fine last night still in place and in one piece, this is a new head I put on a few days ago when the other one stopped working > I am chugging away on the original clearo that came with the riva, it is still going strong

I'm puzzled by this pam, I've not had any issues with my mini nova, it spends most of it's time laying down on my riva next to me, on top of that your original clearo is still working?? Is your house in a bubble of alternate reality??

LOL I do wonder that myself sometimes Goth That clero has been thoroughly neglected, used and abused and is still chugging away filled to the brim with vanilla and not a leak to be seen from anywhere The impression I have is that the wick is soaking up the juice into the coil bit and then dripping it down the middle tube all on its own. The kitchen towel the Nova is sitting on is enjoying more menthol than I am at the moment

that sucks, try changing the atty head next time you clean it out, and see if that makes a difference, if you have got a defective wick, that should fix it with some luck (especially if you use a 2.8 as it uses a thicker wick than the 2.4 and 1.8)

It's the 2.8 that I put in a few days ago I will break open my pack of 2.4 heads tomorrow and try one of those instead, in the mean time it is sitting on it's kitchen towel incontinence pad in case it gets caught short before then

Yeah sounds exactly the same problem I'm having. A little tip when you do things and want to check if it's fixed - fill it with water instead of e juice and leave upright saves wasting juice!

could be that the thicker wick is the issue then
