Dregs Juice

I have a bottle of e-juice dregs. It is all the weird and wonderful "free samples" that I found to be yuk, mixed with the discoloured dregs of 3 months of clearomisers and several 3 and 5 ml bottles of e-juice I have bought and found not to my taste.

Along with 3 other 10ml mixes that I made up today to my normal 24mg strenth, I also made up an 18mg x 10ml bottle of the Dregs Mixture.

While I will now leave the proper mixes to blend for a couple of days, I just had to try the Dregs Mix and it is beautiful. A sort of Kings Oddfellows taste which is just sublime, but unfortunately I will never be able to replicate.

Anyways, today was my very first mixology try and if 50% of my future mixes are anything close to my Dregs Mix effort, I will be more than happy.

I've never done a dregs mix, but I have heard similar stories of delicious results. I'm going to have to start my own dregs bottle

I can't wait till I get started on mixing my own, still need to learn a bit 1st, but can see I'm gonna have some real fun with it

being a total n00b here, but does this require and cooking, is is it all cold mixing??

If you have a look a Frogsters recipes in AAEC Members Recipes they're very easy to follow, the only "cooking" involved is if you're making up you're own tobacco concentrate (there's a thread on that, its very good) but if you just buy concentrates it's very easy to get started. Dave

cool, as I'm trying to keep my ever growing pile of supplies out of the kitchen and in my study. Tobacco flavours are something I've pretty much gone off, so it's likely to be from concentrates, although I am considering doing a honey one, as I have a beehive full of the stuff at the end of my garden

Looking through the flavours I do have, I could start on a dregs bottle now, and if lobeys experience is anything to go by, I could get a bit of a result

I did all of my mixing this morning on the computer desk and the only thing I brought from another part of the house was an old mug half filled with water to wash out my syringes in.

I used a 1ml, a 5ml and a 10ml syringe to measure my amounts. I also used the online calculator;-

to measure all my liquids.
For the Dregs Mix, as the flavour was already there, that worked out at 7ml of dregs to 3ml of Nic Juice to give me a 18mg strenth in a 10ml bottle.
I kept the strength lower because some of the dregs already had some nic juice in them and so I played it safe on strength with that one.
Oh and I also used Latex Gloves. It is amazing how much you get on your hands, exen being extra careful.

I have dregs bottle, but not horrible flavours and stuff, it is
just those last 6-10 drops from a bottle of juice.
Instead of faffing to get them into a tank or carto, I stand
the bottle on end when it is finished and what drains down to
the tip gets put in the dregs.

I use it for priming coils or charring ss mesh wicks.

Occasionally I'll vape it. It's rarely deicious but always intersting

I see from your banner that you are over a year down the vaping route and perhaps when I am here that long, I will also be into ss meshes etc. and needing dregs for that, but at the moment I have enough dregs to char a fireplace, never mind a mesh.
However, now that I have found a way of using them up, maybe I too will get down to "a few drops here and there"!!! #fingers#

When I first started out i was reluctant even to use those
new fangled cartomisers
I just couldn't understand why peeps wanted to rebuild their own
atties or use stainless steel mesh.

At the moment I am trying to figure out a way of telling "she who must be obeyed" that her desk in the study would make an ideal mixing bench for me.

Maybe I'll invest in a bunch of flowers and a box of chocolates, tomorrow.

Aha, That's me problem! There are 2 desks there and I already have one for the PC. Now I need the other one for me mixing.
Afterall, shes got the kitchen sink, what more does she need???
