Oops sorry Kev, yes the battery led button will flash when it needs recharging great so they do have some sort of indication the charge is getting low Not really, just give one a full charge while you're playing around with the other, it'll take around 2 hours for a charge and should last you a full day (1000mah). Just make sure you always have one fully charged and you won't have to worry..

Don't the newer versions do the same?

yeps, this is still the case, it's a sight I dread, as it means I have to stop vaping while I switch my tank over to the fully charge battery

Personally I prefer the mini nova, as it is a 510 thread, so will work with pretty much anything, the kanger T2 is an ego thread, so will only work with devices that have an eco thread (as the riva does), unless you buy a 510 to ego adapter.

I have 3 ce2 clearos, that I carry in my kit with different flavours, they are great for a quick flavour change on the go. My main tank is the mini nova, it will last me a day on 2.5ml, and does look good on the battery. I did think about getting a standard nova, but the pictures I saw didn't look as good as the mini nova on a riva.

i aint even got a set up yet so all talk of nova riva mini super etcetc is a little baffling ..sorry im hoping when andrew comes with some gear it will become a little more clearer im hoping to get a 1100 if he as one for battery time (plus spare) he as reccomended over phone a nice little 600 kit he as at the moment 15.00 pounds maybe that and a 1100 battery will be sufficent .. i take it the clearo`s he will be supplying will fit smuggly onto the 1100 battery (providing he got one) all 501 fitting ?? thats the plan ..but hey oh what do i know ... pprobably end up with something completely different.. something andrew had for ten years and not been able to shift ..lol

that depends on the clearos, the ce2 clearos are 501 and compatable with most devices, I have even used them on my cig-a-like. The vision ego (CE4) and Kanga T2 are ego threaded, and will work on ego/riva batteries of all sizes.
The best thing is to see what andrew has in the way of batteries, see what you like, and then kit it out from there. anything 501 will always be good, but keep an open mind. different clearos will vape differently, and even fill differently. See what you find easiest and work from there.
It is confusing, but seeing the kit and handling it will help clear the fog

A picture paints a thousand words, Andrew will sort you out, he seems helpful enough and would love to answer all your questions.
