When you have made up a mixture and you are then leaving it to steep for a while, are you steeping it in the fridge or out on a shelf? If out, then in darkness or not?
Also, at what point do you decide to then put it away in the freezer until needed?

Right, how do you stop the 10ml bottle that I am trying to fill, from skyting off my desk, dropping onto the floor and then rolling under the locker to leak all over the carpet, while I go and find a torch and a plastic ruler so that I can howk it out again before I lose all my newly mixed wonder juice? #icon_cry#

I have hopefully solved the bottle skyting by buying a couple of beakers and I'll do my mixing in that.
Back to the OP, I have read on other topics about members that refridgerate and freeze their e-juices. Are there many that do that, or it it just when you have more than a couple of years supply?

I think its when you buy or make a huge amount. Its going to keep better if stored in a freezer. Perps will be able to tell you more, as she has said before she stores hers in a freezer.

A cool dark place is fine Lobey for short term storage ( a couple of years ) as long as your eliquid is away from a direct heat source/sunlight. I freeze my base liquid as Brian says, as I'm intending using it over the coming years, I tend to buy when there's a good deal going so it isn't for immediate use. The stash in the fridge, is an endeavour to contain some of the vaping related accumulations I've got in my house. It's not really essential, given our climate . . . .

Och that's no problem. My workshop is 60ft by 18ft and not heated, so I'll find plenty of room there for a few litres.
She who must be obeyed will be happy as she was none to keen on the idea of e-juice in with the Fish Fingers.

I've been doing some research on the best place to store e-liquid, just 'cos I'm I have an inquisitive mind and read some stuff saying that the fridge can mute flavours. I'm going to store mine in my PC cupboard for a while and see if I notice a difference.
I'd be interested to see what others think about this.
I think for long term storage the general consensus of opinion deems to be to freeze it.

Firin if by your PC cupboard you mean the place where your computer sits, won't that get warm?
