Looking at that pic, the two wick holes aren't directly opposed as previously thought?, i e directly adjacent with the centre post in the middle?, so thinking a 'U'ey is perfectly feasible, looks like there is ample room between top of wicks and the roof of the top cap too.

No they are not on opposite sides..I initially thought that, but Gordy clarified it in the initial interest thread..Yes a U wick or dual wick is possible.
That's not mine Des. It's just what was posted in the facebook group that Brian linked me to.

So I was thinking two 3 ohm coils giving a 1.5 ohm load, but then I thought this might mean the coils don't get hot enough? ???

Yes the coils won't get hot enough unless you have something that can push through large currents and the battery to sustain it for that..
3 wraps of what looks like 0.2 wire around what looks like roughly 3mm wick will 2 ohms each, so that's probably a 1 ohm effective coil..

I have enough issues with one coil tbh, but thanks to the guys I may have solved that, failing to comprehend that a short could happen at the bottom of my centre post and not just the coil end, thank god for forums.
Been reading posts and watching vids about this Genny an all looks great, well done macca! ( and perps xx )

I need to put the Provari on steroids.. Probably suit GG 18650 PAPS type devices or a flat top lavatube better..

It's slightly bigger than the 3ml Cobra. (20 x 58 vs 23 x 60)
Should be fine..A Bolt will suit it perfectly....

Really pleased I bought the SB, with my kick at 8 watts I reckon this Genny is gonna be a bit good. Agree with Roger, a bit size FH but I'll live with it. No way is provari gonna run that with dual coil without seeing 15000 E1 E2 E8 codes.
Now, anyone have a sleeve for an SB?
