Me too. Works a treat. This one was recommended to me a few weeks ago. I think several people on here use it.

It's good enough for me. I don't 'think' it holds a massive amount of gas. Or maybe I didn't fill it properly but still I'd recommend.

Yeah i wondered if it held a lot of gas or not as it seems to run out a bit quicker than a previous cheapo one i got from fleabay, im also wondering if the canister I use to refill it has the correct valve as i get some (a lot) of leakage during refilling, I thought they were a standard valve though.

I currently use the £2.00 pencil torch similar one in the opening post but it is flimsy and failed and I took it apart and repaired it and it now works very well and I also use it for soldering but I would not recommended it.

This one looks good for the price but maybe someone who has actually used one can tell you if it is any good:

DON'T GO FOR CHEAP SHITE, THESE THINGS ARE DANGEROUS

Spend your money and buy a decent one, its not worth saving a couple of quid just to have your house surrounded by fire engines and ambulances or even worse, multiple hearses.

Im not sure skwoddy, I've only had to refill once. And no leakage for me on filling. But I did have to refill it quicker than I was expecting. Guesstimate I done 6,maybe 8 wicks I guess.

There's a discussion on vape pit about the need to get it glowing as much as I do. I believe some are saying there done after like ten seconds? I know though my system works very well every time. If I have to recharge every 8 wicks, so be it.

I believe it was macca that said 'orange' colour is enough, no need to get it yellow.

I normally oxidize mine to a deep orange..If you get it hotter, it probably oxidizes better but also makes the wick very brittle..

The important thing is to make the wick actually wick juice to the coils and not have the coil too tight. Burning juice also deposits gunk which insulates so if you got the odd hotspot you can keep dripping juice at that point and firing it at low voltages to make it go away.

Well, I got fed up not being able to see how much gas I have left in there and I want to be able to use for soldering too where the electric one won't cut it..It comes with a soldering tip, so should be quite useful, if it works well, that is..

Alot of the problems with these devices lies in the built in (or lack of) insulation, Heat transfer from the nozzle to the (usually) plastic valve and cheaper plastics just give up and melt, making the valve inoperable.

i use one of these £10 on amazon, does the job nicely, its called a unilite torch
