AAE-C UK operates a two thread per Vendor rule, for every Vendor. For example, one for stock updates and one for special Vendor offers. This rule has a dual purpose, multiple threads from the same Vendor tend to unfairly bump everyone else off the first page. It is hoped that this rule levels the playing field for all Vendors whilst also making it simpler for Members to navigate the Vendors forum for their requirements. Either of these two threads can be locked and moved to the Vendors Archived Threads Board, by request and with a Moderators agreement, therefore enabling a new thread to be started. To request a thread to be moved, simply ' report ' the thread in question, by clicking on the report option in the drop down list next to the gear icon top right of any post in the thread and it will be dealt with when one of the moderators are next online.
This rule will be actively monitored and enforced. Wholesalers: Please note the purpose of this forum is to try to assist end users find the best product at the best price. A further update.
All Online vendors must comply with Distance Selling Regulations & Ecommerce Directives. For instance, they must show a full address, email address & phone number in their "Contact" link. Also, all Vendors must have a compliant returns policy.
For any, already registered vendors, that aren't complying with DSR's, we will give you until Friday 11th January 2012, before your status is revoked.
Any new prospective vendors will not be granted vendor status if their websites do not comply.
