My other half just had to come to my defence against her mum and brother over me vaping, as both were trying to bully me into taking up smoking and giving up my nice shiny vaping toys.

Apparently, they can deal with me using skycigs, but find my rivas, egos and tin mod embarrassing. And my constant changing of flavours apparently means it's not working and I should just give up e-cigs as a bad job.

Thankfully the other half piped up and said how much better off I was in both health & wealth, and how I'm the only one in the house not getting out of breath walking up the stairs.

I do feel I'm up against it a bit here, especially as the mother in law hasn't gotten on with her skycig, and is back to tobacco cigs, she seems set to give me problems.

if they want to bully you into smoking just let them offer you a cig accept and then break it up in front of them
at the current cost of ciggies they wont try it again
If you really wanted a cig you'd have had one so just practice them smoke rings on your pv and blow one to them

I gotta agree with the others, apart from my best mate, who when I'm in the middle of recoiling says I look like a bomb maker/ meth lab operator, the only people who give me crap about vaping or my mods are people who still smoke.

There's says a lot for me, you do this for you GL, it's your life, your health

We had a lady in the shop the other day wanting a Riva or Ego type kit.

Her husband was with her and he talked her out of it on the grounds that she would embarass him if they went to parties and was better of sticking to ciggies.

Ignore them and do what is best for you

I'd definitely agree with the health part, but then she doesn't know about the stealth purchases does she?

It sound like the OH's Mum's got a chip on the shoulder because it didn't work for her, and the brother.. well bloods thicker than water isn't it?

Carry on regardless & you can a nice warm feeling that you've succeeded and any complaints are really just their sour grapes.

If all else fails you could dig a couple of holes by the patio mate.

I don't want a cig, I haven't wanted one since I got on the e-cigs, which is the 1st time for me getting of the smokes and not being tempted or getting cravings, but more to the point, I'm enjoying it.

I am a little eccentric by nature, so standing there vaping on a riva is no issue, I just can't wait to see their faces when I get a lavatube and provari (I will get them one day)

Lol no she doesn't know about the stealth purchases, but I have still spent under what I would have spent on other toys and on tobacco, in fact this months juice order is £30, and that gives me enough of a stock pile for 2 months, I used to spend £60 - £75 a month on tobacco and about £100 on toys and other bits, which I now don't buy, instead spending only £50 a month on vaping toys

gothi, that is so annoying, I have experienced something odd with vaping, I was at a meeting last week and a guy that had given up smoking years ago got really assy about me vaping, and said "it was like an alcoholic drinking non alcoholic beer" I guess meaning it was a cop out or something, I didn't bother asking what he meant as quite frankly it's his problem not mine, but he was really angry about me vaping, not sure what his problem was! but sorry to hear you are not getting support from them that must be hard, if you are anything like me, I am really proud of giving up fags and vaping so it hurts just a little when someone downs it........I wonder if it makes them feel rubbish about smoking so they put you down for vaping? but glad your OH has her head screwed on and is on your side
