While ive been using e-gigs, whenever I press the button I hear a clicking and it continues even when I take a puff, for some strange reason now thats stopped, I still hear the clicking when I press the button but when my mouth goes on the tip it stops, the vapor is till there but no clicky noises. It happens the same with whichever battery im using. Im using a mini nova and the only thing that ive changed recently is the end bit which now is a different resistance, could that be why do you think?

Could be the juice heating up and hissing and popping on the coils if the replacement head is the 2.8 it may not be heating up as much as the previous one.

Thanks Pam , the first one I was using was 2.40 dunno what this one is and cant see at the mo as its filled with juice. As I said it is still working ok, but as I have such an inquiring mind I just had to try and found out what the problem was haha.

I would guess it is the 2.8 if it is pretty mellow.

ah yes, just had a look and was able to see it, youre right it is the 2.8 and the one I have left is 1.8, so I presume that will be worse still, I think I really need to get some more now..........2.4 next time maybe? Even though Ive been on these for over six months I still dont know too much about things....maybe one day haha

I was advised when I started not to use the 1.8 head with an ordinary riva battery as the power it pulls could damage the battery, though others say they use them ok on the rivas ??? I like the 2.4 and have bought 5 spare heads for when they need replacement. I can use them on all my different batteries.

Mary, I only use the 1.8 heads on my Egos but they seem to hiss and spit and pop on my tongue which scares me half to death so I'm not really keen on them. I use the 2.4 and 2.8 on both my Egos and Rivas but I prefer the 2.4 as I find it gives a nicer draw for some reason.

Thanks for that Jeannie, I think the 1.8 can stay in the box then, Ive been scared half to death lately with all the fireworks, dont need anything else Im gonna send for the 2.4s now, did you find that the 2.8 dont make any noise at all once you are puffing on them?

You might be able to make them pop if you turn your twist right up, I agree though that the 1.8 heads are a bit lively

If you do use the 1.8 ohm head you can always turn the voltage down on your twist, I use my novas on Lavatubes and I just get a faint hissing sound. Dave

I don't think the 2.8 do make a noise, other than the little pop you get when you first fire it up but it's quiet whilst vaping. To be honest, I usually only use the 2.4 head and give my son the others as he'll use anything, especially if it's free.

I'm a big fan of the 1.8ohm head, my LT battery lasts longer and the taste (was) great until I did a dry burn with it.
