Broken Riva :(

I have only had my Riva batteries for 8 weeks, i dropped one this morning and now it wont work, tried to see if it was a flat battery but the light on the charger stays green, i think i have broken it

Have you checked the centre post hasn't been pushed down to much? Make sure you don't touch the switch and use a pin to very slightly try and raise the post. May help.

I think something has come lose inside, if i turn it upside down what ever is inside moves and the light flashes

Macca should be able to advise as he is a supreme tinker of batteries and has resolved alot of battery problems. Hopefully he`ll be able to sort it.

Probably the wire soldered to top cap has been jerked loose due to the weight of the battery..

If you can't sort it you can send it to me enclosing a large stamp in the envelope and I will sort it and post it back to you, provided the circuit board hasn't burnt out..

if something loose good chance it is broken
but just for peace of mind try another battery on your charger too ,,as my twist did the same and i thought it was broken only to find that it was indeed the charger that had gone kulunk

It's not my charger, i have another 4 batteries, i learnt well, back ups for my back ups.... i have asked someone i know who is electrically/mechanically minded to have a look at it for me.

My Riva is broken and to top it all off i have a bad cold, cant taste anything not even menthol, and i dropped another battery and i have now broken the button, so i have managed to lose 2 batteries this week, and VE dont have any Riva betteries in stock, i could cry #icon_cry#
