There's no difference between the two. 2.4 is ideal for your battery.

They are the same, but different manufacturers I expect.
Doubtful they are compatible, so wherever you decide to buy, you will likely have to return to same vendor for spare wicks. Unless you DIY your wicks/coils.

Cool, I thought they looked very similar.
what do the different ohm attys actually do? I'm assuming there's some difference in the vapour produced.

The lower the resistance, the higher the throathit, more vapour.
Ego/Riva batteries are better suited to 2.0-2.4 ohm. Puts a strain on battery if too low.

ahh, I see. that's what I want really....More vapour and bigger throat hit. I find I'm sucking the hell out of it to get the vapour and th I'm after.
like I said my battery is 900 mah and fully charged gives out 3.94v. would there be a problem with me using a 1.8ohm head on it? I don't mind the battery running out quicker I just don't want to damage anything.

You are close to the limit of what an eGo type battery will take with a 1.8 ohm head, but chances are you should be OK. The resistance stated on those heads is only approximate and the ones I have had have all been a bit more than that anyway. If you want to use relatively low resistance stuff you'd be better off either with a basic battery mod or a VV device like a Twist or a Lavatube, for instance. The other advantage of VV is that you can ramp up the voltage a bit compared to the eGo, which has pretty much the same effect as lowering the resistance.

Cool, thanks for the help people I've ordered a couple at 1.8ohms. I was planning to upgrade to a vv/twist at the end of the month. I can see how my current battery goes with lower resistances and decide whether I need one asap or if I can hold out till chrimbo

I found 1.8 pushing it a bit--I just got the spinner which is very good--worth a look at before you buy a twist.

The 1.8 will be fine, the switches on these batteries will tollerate that level of ohms but won't go much lower. However, with a twist, 1.8 will be a waste of the ability to adjust the voltage because you will not really take it above 4v. A 2.4ohm head will allow you to explore the voltage range till you find a setting that's just right for you. Well worth it

One is guaranteed to be made by Vision, a decent manufacturer, the other is from a generic manufacturer..
Those from Vision will be usually be of a higher quality.

Thanks for the advice guys. When I get a vv I'll get different resistance heads to have a mess about with

Your battery should be fine for 1.8ohms.
I’ve got 2 x 900mha batteries that I bought as part of a 1.8ohm I-Mist kit from Safercigs back in April & although I no longer use I-Mist atomisers these 2 batteries have been in constant use in rotation every day for work using clearos with home made wicks/coils at 1.8 – 2.0ohms & I easily get a full day out of each battery. Definitely one of my better purchases, I’ve had my monies worth.
Like yours, my batteries are unregulated too & deliver 4.1v fully charged, my wife has a couple of 1100mha regulated ego batteries working at 3.7v & they just don’t cut it for me, not enough flavour or vapour & even though they have a higher mha rating they never last a full day. Just tested my battery after a full day at work & it still reads 3.8v.
At home the Mrs uses a mini LT & I use a kicked tube & if you stick the same clearos on that we use for work they don’t taste any better than my little 900mha ego type batteries.
IMO 1.8-2.0ohms will give you the best flavour/vapour/throat-hit combination available for your battery.
