The one that Karma linked to is a 650 mah Riva, so a fair bit smaller than an 1100 mah Riva & the same size as the Vgo2. As they have an on off safety button, you wouldn't need to put it in the case before putting it in your pocket.
IMHO, you would do so much better going for a Riva or Ego rather than a Vgo. Vgo's are Kr808D fittings so you are rather limited to what you can use with the battery & were you can buy from. The Vgo2 automatic is especially a problem as there is no adapter available to enable you to use anything with a 510 thread on it.

The Ego is about the size of a cigar, not that big, especially for a man. When you say you don't smoke much can you be more precise?

How about the ego mini with either 350 or400mah, i forget which? I was seeing off 50g of gv a week before vaping but now probably 5 a day in the week (since I killed my skycig) and 20/day at the weekend. Damm beer!
At the point now where I prefer e-cigs and I'm using analogous as an inferior replacment! Need to order one fast

Yes a 350 would be a good one to start on, you can easily upgrade to larger batteries later if you so wish. Wherever you order from don't forget to check out the Vendors thread and look for a discount code first.

Also I would add get a Ego Vision atomiser as well, they're easy to fill and you can see how much liquid you have left, also you'll need some liquid. RY4 will be similar to the taste you have in the disposables if they are tobacco taste.

Honestly with all the good reviews on the twist and spinner I'm surprised they aren't recommended more often. Personally I think that's where everyone should start. As it saves you money in the long run. I don't know if there is kits, though?

I agree with Karma, that is a good all round starter kit. I went from Skycigs that I used for the first two weeks of 100% vaping to this kit from Vape Escape;- www.vapeescape.co.uk/vape-escape-vision-1000-ultimate~397I have never looked back and I am still using some of the clearomisers that came with that kit, 3 months on. I guess I am an average vaper and one full clearomiser will last me about 4 hours. I reckon I go through 3ml of juice per day. I have since bought a third battery plus a VV twist, but my basic everyday vaping is still done with the original batteries.

So if the newbie hasn't got anything else to use or only a ciggie lookalike e-cig, they are going to have to buy 2 twists, a battery charger & cartos/clearos & juice. Quite a lot to lay out if they are unsure if they are going to get on with vaping.

Something like this would be a good starter kit, as it's a 510 thread you can add to it easily when you want to try new things code AAEC gives 5% discount Ok - have finally given in and gone for this one. Thanks karma and for all the input - would have taken me weeks to decipher all the info!! The final question now is what is your favorite juice? I have ordered a menthol as this is what I was vaping with skycigs but are there any I have to try. Sure I saw some espresso juice mentioned... sounds amazing! And chocolate orange was mentioned somewhere. I want them ALL!!!

I think you've made a good choice there Crin Honestly, it's not that big The mini egos are ok for a bit stealth vaping but they don't last that long between charges and tbh I find them too small and fiddly I'm sure you'll love your kit and if you want to get a Twist at a later date it will be fully compatible with everything you already have, same with a Vivi Nova

When I was on the Skycigs, I found the tobacco disgusting but the Menthol was okay and became my basic. I had been on Menthol fags anyway, so it was no big change. The Cherry and the Vanilla were okay too, a bit strange but vapeable and they gave me an insight into the fact that with vaping, I wasn't stuck with just variations on a tobacco theme like with fags.
However, I think that the tobacco cartridges that came with the Skycig kind of put me off tobacco flavoured e-juices and it took a few months before I started trying out other makes of tobacco e-juice, finally finding one I liked, Royals by Paradise Vape.
Despite since trying other flavours, the Cappucinno, also by Paradise Vape is a favourite and the Menthol by Jacvapour comes in to make up my 3 basic e-juices.
Although I now mix my own, I still keep a goodly supply of my 3 favourites and despite my tastebuds changing the further away from fags I get, these 3 got me hooked on vaping and I guess will always remain at the core of my juices.

If I was doing it all again, I'd stick with ego/riva and mini vivi. If a big (medium) battery is really out of the question, I guess it would have to be an ego mini, maybe a "team" of 3 of them. I'm giving up on cartos as soon as I can get enough clearos to cover all my flavour choices. Either tomorrow or Sat, it'll be a straight test mini vivi vs. Kanger T3 vs. V3 re-buildable. I bought a mini 510 kit to use @ work, but that was a waste of time. Too much re-charging and too much re-filling.
