I've got it! My lovely wife picked it up and brought it to work for me so will be trying it out at tea break. Initial thoughts are that it's perfect size for what I require and looks really well made. But the proof is in the puffing...

The batteries come with a factory charge, so you should be able to use one straight away while fully cvharging the other

Wow - now that's a hit! First I tried the caramel carts and loved the flavour but was expecting a little more throat, more smoke, more something than my skycig but was almost the same. I notice a kind of burnt taste after a few puffs. I then tried the 18mg menthol juice in the clearo and wow - think I need a bit of practice because its quite different every time. The usual long draw blew my head off so will experiment a bit. Love it though so thanks for all the input.

Looking forward to trying all the flavors now available to me!!

You can get more throat and vapour by using a low res cart. But personally I think clearos of one sort or another are better. They also come with different resistances.

After vaping the menthol that came with the kit all afternoon, I have come to the conclusion that its freekin rancid. Anyone else come to the same conclusion or is it just me? I'm really surprised as I smoked menthol skycig and loved them but wanted more of a throat. Now I've got that but the flavour sucks.

Can anyone recommend a good menthol?

Everybody recommends different ones as tastes are so different, the one I use as my only vape is health-e-vapes menthol.

Crin - don't forget that your taste buds will gradually recover after smoking tobacco, so don't be in any haste to bin juice or cartos that you don't like. Try them again in a couple of months and they'll taste completely different.
Use the menthol to mix with other less than ideal juices too!
The great thing about vaping is that you are not restricted to tobacco flavours, as mentioned above. There are dozens of retailers selling juices in a massive variety of tastes and flavours, so get shopping for small tester bottles until you find two or three that you really like, and then take it from there.

I have known people that don't like Haggis.
Yes I know, they should be shot, or at least burned at the stake, but there you are, there is just no justice in this world.

Whereas me? Well I would run a mile if someone handed me a plate of Tripe.

There is no accounting for tastes and I have bought 10 or 12 "highly recommended" e-juices and there was only one that I liked, and it is causing my clearos to leak.

Fortunately I was very lucky when I first started on vaping and almost from the start found 3 e-juices that all hit the spot. This was before I found AAEC.
I'm still buying them even although I am now mixing other flavours of my own.

Of the others that I don't like, well I am mixing these, the harsh with the overly sweet and making juices that I can vape rather than bin and once they are used up, well I won't be buying again.

Very little goes to waste and when I get fed up with experimental ones, well I always have my nice ones to fall back on.

will agree with you on rancid part lol my first lot was Golden Virginia,was happy with it for first time next day thought ewww,but carried on as it was only one i had, now trying just straight virginia,but have taken a bit to Ry4,if your looking at the menthol cool route maybe a mint flavour maybe way to try,mind you as for taste buds coming back,well lets say chilli stuf i used to eat by spoon full nearly blew my head off at the weekend and maybe depending on smoking amount sense of smell is returning to and yukkkkkk,i smell nictotine every time someone gets in my cab,but worst has to be the smell of exhaust fumes,when i walk down the shops lol

The tobacco had a more continental flavouring than a British one and I didn't like it.
The Vanilla & the Cherry were "amusing". Vapeable, but different and I was not used to that kind of taste in something that was supposed to be an alternative to smoking.
However, thank gawd for the Menthol!!!
I had been smoking menthol cigarettes for a few years and the Skycig Menthol cartridges hit the spot!!

It was these and the Skycig that took from from smoking into 100% vaping.

During this period I quickly sussed that I could refill these cartridges with e-juice and went looking for juices that had a British Tobacco taste. Most that I tried were either American Blends or Continental Blends, until I found this page:-

and they were selling, amongst others, one called Royals.
I tried about 8 different e-juices from this page and the Royals was bang on. The perfect (for me) British tobacco flavour.

I also tried several e-juices from here;-

and their Menthol PG was just the Bees Knees.

These two flavours took me into the world of Vaping and are still with me today.

However, my favourite flavours, Royals especially, are not always available when I want them and I have since learned that while most tobacco, IE burnt vegitation, flavours are similar, once you try to reproduce these flavours by mixing food flavouring, tastes and consistencies can vary enormously.
So I am trying to replicate these shop bought e-juices by mixing my own so that I can get the consistency and supply that suits my needs.
British tobacco taste wise I now have 3 on the go, a Virginia, a Golden Virginia and a Royals.
Menthol wise I still have a ways to go. The shop bought Jacvapour Menthol is by far the best Menthol I have ever tasted and I cannot come close to replicating that!
I have since added Paradise Vape's Cappuccino and again that is a hard act to follow and is my choice of evenings vapes.

There is a quite distinct smell if you are in close proximity to a vape pipe and those who do not and have never smoked, will smell this more so than the vaper.
Also, the taste and smell that I am getting from the e-juice I am using, is not the smell that others around me are getting, nor, if someone else tries my pipe, the taste that I am getting, so while I bang on about the "wonderful" tastes of the e-juices I like, you will not necessarily experience those same tastes when you try them.
