Ideas needed for blind would-be vaper...

Would anyone be interested in paying £1 to enter a competition for this lady and raise funds to get her set up with something? Was thinking I could purchase a £10 pixie juice voucher or see if any of our lovely vendors have anything they'd be prepared to offer?

It really is very kind of you to think of this but people have already been hugely generous to my friend, and she's going to have a really good supply of stuff to get her started.

I honestly think she will need nothing else for ages.....

I'll keep everyone posted regarding her success or otherwise.

Thought I'd update you as to how my blind friend got on today....
She, Angie, and I met at another friend's house (Sally) and we introduced her to the bounty of vaping gear that is now hers.

She was completely astounded by the generosity shown to her and had the obligatory little weep.

We then got stuck in to demonstrating and sampling and had a fine time playing about with batteries and drip tips and different flavours.

Angie has the hang of changing a prefilled carto, knows how to charge her batteries, how to add a drip tip, and how to turn her battery on and off.

She was absolutely thrilled and enjoyed every puff.

She asked me to pass on her gratitude to everyone that donated stuff, said that your great kindness has restored her faith in human nature,and suspects that vaping might be as big a success for her as it has been for most of us.

Sally, Pauline (another involved friend) and I are making a donation to Jack's fund to express our own gratitude, under the name of 'figgysal'.

You all made 4 old ladies very happy...

Glad to hear all is going well and what a lovely idea to make donation to say thanks. I just LOVE the kindness of people on this forum, when money is so tight for everyone and most people are just about 'me' it's so nice to have a corner of the internet where people care for others so much.

I just love how people with less than perfect health have such a great sense of humour about it!!!

Just thought you would all like to know that Angie has been smoke free since she was introduced to her generously donated kit.

She is so pleased with herself, nearly as pleased as we, her friends, are, and feels much better about her upcoming appointment with her doctor.

She's managing everything very well, and travels with a bag containing more than half her stock, just in case she needs a back up for her back up.

I think she's taken to it like a pro, thanks to everyone here....
