hmm... I was vaping nothing but the alchemists xxx mints mixed with a chocolate flavour from saturday through to tuesday because I've had a cold and couldn't taste anything else. (and I don't like minty flavours) lol I wonder if it's that what brought it on... the mint really is xxx strong lol

Well, you don't me to tell you that you should still go Pam . . . despite it being not the most joyous experience.

Left unattended, it will only get worse . . . applying toothpaste to the really sensitive areas, will help desensitize them, use Corsodyl mouthwash . . . and see if your dentist will apply a coating ( forget what it's called ) to your teeth, it's not permanent but does help with sensitivity for a short time.

And tell them you need your mouth numbing, either with the numbing gel or local, before they touch you.

Oh pam that sounds like agony! You need to go back to dentists and tell them yet HAVE stopped smoking so it's their turn to find a better solution now and to numb your mouth before doing anything.

*hugs* to all those with teeth issues, about a month ago I had 5 fillings fitted, my first ever, and my mouth grew even more sensitive after but seems to be calming down now thankfully!

it's such a pain that so many of us have side effects (dental/mouth) from stopping. We should all have born-again pearly white gnashers!
I too have found that Corsodyl helps with hardening the gums/ bleeding. It tastes really horrible too!

Just a tip - you can get a generic version of Corsodyl/Oraldene mouthwash at Savers, Home and Bargain etc. Same ingredients, less than half the price. Same choice of flavours and even the bottle looks very similar.....

Drink a lot of fluids. Nicotine dehydrates you. When I went vape I also found that after a night on the booze that I was very very dehydrated.

I used to have bleeding gums a lot with stinkies. After 2 months on vaping, and regular teef brushing, it's gone last I noticed. Tar is what does the damage to your gums apparently, and there's none of that in vape.
