Not been on the forum for a while, just got back off holiday, one of the places we visited was Gibraltar, we looked in one of the cheap wine shops & noticed on the shelves the cigars I used to smoke, normal price over here about £10 for five over there £2, I couldn't resist a try. Well I couldn't believe how awful the first one tasted tried another a few days later & it was the same, so learned my lesson never again will I indulge in smoking. Vaping all the way for me from now on much much nicer.

My other half grew up in 'La Linea' Tom. Hope you had a good time, and glad you think vaping is the way forward

If you honestly believe you can have two and then stop then I don't see any harm in a Christmas treat. The issue will be if you have any doubts that it'll lead you back to smoking regularly. Also if you don't like it, which it sounds like you may not, will it sour past happy memories of that special smoke? That'd be horrible thing to do!

ratfinkz it is a big think on that will i sour my memory of a lovely flavour rolling around the mouth re smoking it is something I never ever want to do again so I wonder ... while realising there is nothing that will replicate the flavour of smoking a ciggie is there a real close flavour of something like a real cuban cigar taste
personally I think i am going to give my annual ritual a miss this year wonder if he (george the dog) might buy me a vaping pressie instead? suggestions please..

Colli, my dear old grandma was a clean living person, the wife of a military man, she would drink a sherry and smoke a single cigarette once a year, at the regiments Christmas party. Do what you feel mate, but whatever you decide, don't feel bad, it is Christmas after all

Colin that was what I thought, they used to taste so good, but since I've been vaping for over six months the taste was terrible so won't be going there again.

Colli, have you tried the house of liquid el toro range? I have the milder el toro cigarillos one which tastes a bit like a mix between a cigarette and a cigar. They also do one that's meant to be like a cigar with a really strong flavor. If you haven't tried the range, I recommend you do so.
