Oh my lordy lordy have I had problems tonight

I decided to clean my mini nova, I then dry burned it which I have done before without any problems, I put some nice new juice in and tasted awful......burned taste, so had to throw the head away and the juice away and start again. I then put an already clean head on it and filled again, vaped for about ten mins and that went.. no vape no taste nowt, nothing, threw that one and have now put a new one on and am back in business, sounds like it wouldnt take long but its taken me all bloomin night. I hope I have no more problems like that again for a while hahaha Did I do something wrong with the dry burning for it to taste burnt like that? I thought I was supposed to do it till the smoke stopped and I could see the red coil.

Mary if you did it til you could see the coil glowing red you did it right. I think coils/heads just choose their time to die, and it's usually at the worst possible moment

This can happen with vivi heads when dry burning, there is some material around the wires to stop them touching the inside of the metal tube, sometimes this can get burnt. After having the same problem I now dry burn in shorter bursts and as soon as it glows red I stop.

Its just not been my day today what with this and earlier on all the electric went off, the burglar alarm went crazy, gave both me and the dog a headache maybe tommos things will get better..........Oh well at least I know I did the right thing with the dry burning, perhaps not bother next time ill just give um a wash lol.

Mary, you should keep the heads......they can be re-wicked & coiled

Id never be able to do that chris, im all fingers and thumbs at the best of times and my eyes arent what they used to be , so I just have to keep buying new ones.

When you have a few that need doing post them to me and i will re wick them for you.
Gotta be worth the price of a stamp, especially if you have a few todo in one go

okie dokie will do, the one ive just thrown.....I pulled the wick out just to have a look at it and it was a mess, no wonder it tasted awful haha, have I ruined that one now?

No it can still be re-wicked
