Hi Rab Thank you for such an interesting thread. As I am new to vaping I was not even aware of the ECCA. I am still processing all the fascinating info and arguements on this issue, but I have just signed up as a member of ECCA so I can have a good read later. I do have similar feelings to Addict in that although I would not want the big guns taking over, I do want a certain amount of regulation and safety nets in place to stop rogues and scammers operating and risking our health and safety. She is quite right that as it stands now, any tom dick or harry can start selling stuff regardless of their product knowledge or mixing know how. I totally agree that we need to do something to raise our profile and spread the word, but, as others have said, where will that lead us? Just not sure... I also have concerns about vendors funding the ECCA. Would that affect their sense of credibility having those who will profit most out of vaping funding its existence? You can bet your life that sooner or later some journalist or anti vaping exponent will use this fact to discredit the ECCA. This has got me scratching my head. I am not sure what is the best way forward, but it is great we are talking about it. BTW... even though I am a disabled wheelchair user. I don't work and would be happy to help in anyway I can. Just don't ask me to deliver leaflet LOL

"Reputable" can mean anything from low cost to fancy flavour to speedy despatching. Most people recommending products have never seen the process and aren't sufficiently knowledgeable to be making judgements about what is safe and what isn't. I would feel more confident buying from a place that is subject to random visits from someone who knows what to look out for. Sorry to the op for taking the thread off topic.
