Loving my Ego

Just a little update...

I got my ego kit last week and am having lots of fun with it! I was on a e-lite and thought I would be using both for a while but the 'hit' off of the ego is so much cleaner and nicer that the e-lite has not seen the light of day.

I do find though some of the juices I have don't give the hit I want to have been mixing them in the carto [?...the plastic thingy] 50/50....some flavour to a tobacco one and this seems to work, otherwise they are too sweet and just taste like sucking flavoured air!

Such a learning curve!!! The vivi thing is still in the box, I'm sure I'll work out what it's for at some point lol

Don't throw out any juice you're not keen on (great idea mixing though) your taste buds may change in a few weeks and you may find you do like it after all

I hear what you are saying about the different flavours. I have four new ones coming tomorrow so I suppose it's all just trial and error..... I love the thought of some of the fruit ones but they just don't seem to hit the spot so to speak. I'm a sucker for all things coconut though and find that with a tobacco is me easily pleased lol.

I have a collection of E-Lite stuff in a box in the garage. I'm not even going to go there....unless there is a Zombie apocalypse...

I looked "quizzically" at my vivi for a few days before taking the plunge. It wasn't the object exactly....it was the thought of "all" that e-liquid and something so professional-looking.

I have been vaping fruit flavours last few days and it's getting me down. I think I'll throw in some high nic' tobacco just to get some taste back.

Probably a bit of a dumb question...but how do I know when to change the atomizer? Does the whole thing just stop working?

Hi Lisa

I ran out of charge on mine today for the first time, usually keep it well charged. It kind of slowed down first, there wasn't much vapour being produced, then it stopped completely. Now it's happened once, I know what to look out for in future. And thankfully I'd just got home from work when it happened so not a major drama. Need to get a spare battery though!

Have a look at some of the vendors on the list you can see from the home page and look for ones that do pick and mix liquids. Most of them will do this, and it means you get to try out different flavours without having to buy loads of something you may end up not liking. And as was recommended to me by the lovely folk on here, steeping really helps - with some flavours the longer you leave them the better they get. I deliberately haven't gone for any tobacco flavours as I wanted to get as far away as possible from the stinkies! I'm currently vaping one that tastes like a certain choccy bar that rhymes with knickers, and I've got a couple of low nic fruit flavours that I take to work with me - that's where pre-filling your own cartridges really comes into its own, and it's so easy to change flavours. Another tip I picked up on here is to 'dry run' the atty by pressing the button for a second or two with no cartridge in it between flavour changes, then you don't get them mixing.

I'm loving vaping and really wish I'd made the switch sooner.

Ahhh thank you Sarah that makes sense I suppose. Well it seems okay for now anyways.

My kit came with two batteries and they seem to stay charged for ages....really impressed with them.
