Hi everyone I am loving my new addiction to vaping. I haven't had an analog for nearly 2mths. I bought a Riva 1100 kit which came with one clearomiser. My fave juice by far is Grants vanilla custard. I am not using anything at the moment. Earlier this week I decided to buy another couple of coloured cartomisers so my husband and I can tell whose is whose and also differeniate between flavours. My problem is that the new coloured ones seem to be using far more juice than my original clearomiser that came with the kit. Is it normal to have varying degrees of juice consumption depending on what clearomiser/cartomiser you use? TIA

Hi dolly, so glad you're still loving the vaping If your clearos aren't leaking, the only place the juice can go is in your gob BUT - if the new ones are lower resistance, or have more wick, they will vapourise more juice than lower resistance or shorter wick ones

Thanks for replying Oneday..
I am pretty certain none of them are leaking. I am not sure what the resistance is on any of them though. The Riva kit I bought seems to have disappeared off UKecig store now they have a load of new stock in. The coloured ones are rainbow ones from Vapescape.

OK. When you bought from VE did you get the 1.8, 2.4 or 2.8 version?

Definitely 1.8 as Grant suggested that was the best one for his flavour.

1.8 is a "low resistance". I would imagine the ones you got with your kit were standard resistance 2.4 Lower resistance atomisers get warmer than SR and hence consume more juice, I think that's where your answer lies

Agreed, my dual wick running at 1.1ohm has to be permanently plumbed in to a 56 gallon drum.
