Cartomiser refilling.

Yes I have to watch my 3 year old boy. I call him Mr destruction. He can get his hands on something and strip it down into a thousand parts in seconds. I spend more time putting things back together these days that's if I can find all the bits.
We used just put everything on high shelves, the house looked great with all the shelves cluttered up. But now he just finds a way of getting to stuff where ever you put it.

Hi.Could you tell me which kit you bought. To be honest im not sure as the carto/clearo options have me confused [ easily done]. I started with E-Cigs etc and now use an EGO which is superb in comparison. What are the condoms used for? Im just trying to get a good understanding of the whole vaping business.

Condoms (no sniggering at the back) serve a good few purposes. Keeping cartomisers fresh (empty or full). Filling cartomisers (if you like that method), putting over various gadgets (vaping ones) and um, putting over various gadgets (non vaping ones).

Condom method involves filling one of the condoms with liquid and gently pressing the cartomiser into it and letting it fill up.

I use a "double-end" method. I drip directly into the small hole end (up to 10 drips, at a guess) then turn it over and put the liquid in the carto and get the filler nice and wet, but not flooded.

What I discovered was *if* you fill only the mouth-piece end and you use a liquid that doesn't absorb very quicky (like a VG), you can be fooled into thinking it's full, when the bottom (where the important bit need to be soaked) can still be dry. Most people have the patience to leave their carts a while and check them before using. I fill both ends (so the liquid kind of meets in the middle ) and use them straight away. I haven't lost one straight off since using this method.

My greatest sympathy, my 3 year old son is exactly the same.

He's a climber, we thought we had everything out of reach, but he trots in the lounge with the ipad the other day, wanting it turned on it's covered with a military cover as well, so is really heavy (for an ipad) so how he got it down from the high shelf I don't know..

I'm constantly worried about my vaping stuff and pack it all away every night.


Thermer, I started on cartos and very nearly got on with them. No doubt the best way is prefilling and leaving them for a long time to soak in.
