I live on a narrowboat and the internet is slow ,slow and even slower ,its GPRS. I can access websites ,but it can take forever, ditto email. There is alot of info i would like to download, but its basically impossible to guarantee any success. Which brings me to the point. Its a shame no one has written a book/pamphlet about vaping. Especially when it comes to diy mixing as i could simply sit and read without the need to fire up the beast every time. This probably dosent apply to house dwellers, although it would still be really handy. Just a thought.

Can you not download an app that would be quicker for you to view the forum as it basically cuts back a lot of data?

There are great "read it later" apps available, I always use them for when Im out and about, Load it up while im at home and "read it later", or try going into your browser settings and turning off a few things like pictures, adblockers are also very useful at blocking unnecessary data. The only thing with a book, is that because vaping is relatively new at the scale it has been taken up and things move very quickly indeed regarding best equipment etc, although mixing for the large part remains unchanged, when you find something interesting, bookmark it as it will stay mostly in you web cache folders.

1st, google hosts file and look for a site with 2002 in the name, download the file and follow the instructions, it will make web pages virtually ad free which makes them load much faster.
2nd, use opera to browse the web, it has a special slow internet speed setting which optimizes images etc to make them load faster
3rd, I would invest in a 3g dongle much faster than 2.5g

+1 on opera for mobile, all your requests are sent to a central server, crunched super fast and sent back to you optimised, very good indeed.

Vaping moves so quickly, a book would be out of date before it is printed.

How good is that. You could download/teleport the whole star trek enterprise into your living room in about 20 minutes at that speed.

Ive had 110 in the last few days, Usually when most of the country is asleep, but yeah useful when a 13gb hd movie comes in under 15 mins Seriously hijacked thread now, sadly 100mbit wont be available on barges anytime soon...
